25.01.2022 At 6am on ANZAC Day musicians everywhere are being called on to take to their front yards to play the Last Post. A grassroots campaign for Australians to comme...morate Anzac Day at dawn in their driveways is gathering momentum across the country. With traditional services and marches cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, RSL branches in every state have unanimously endorsed the gesture, with families across the nation expected to stand at their gates, on balconies or verandahs at 6am on Saturday April 25. Please join us and the rest of Australia in this special moment to remember all those who have served and sacrificed for this nation. We may not be able to stand together as we usually would, but we can still stand united in spirit. Jane McWhirter has accepted her role as Vice-President: we value her experience and ambitions for CCSG Inc. Shawn continues as Treasurer and Public Officer. Thank you to all who attended the AGM: it would have been nice to see your faces behind the masks but we thank Community Health staff for their diligence in maintaining protection for all.

01.01.2022 We love to lend our mobility equipment in our community: but our lending 'library' of equipment only works if items are returned. Coonabarabran Cancer Support Group is currently carrying out a stock-take of equipment loaned out free of charge and used in recovery and assistance of ill and infirm patients. If you have an item which is overdue past the 1 month free-hire period, please call Sherree on 68422680 for a pick-up. If you need to extend your loan-free time, please call Community Health on 68491650 to request an extension.
