19.01.2022 What a great thing for Moree to do, Thank you.

18.01.2022 Well shot Brett Trindall at Narrabri last Sunday, equal first in the single barrel and he took out the handicap and now back on 22m. Great shooting Tricky.

12.01.2022 What happened on Saturday? Coonamble Clay Target Club returned to shooting on Saturday with a bang. Shooters from Goondiwindi, Narrabri and Newcastle-Lake Macquarie clubs joined locals to see 15 competitors shoot a four-event program. After an overcast start to the day the rain began just as the shooting commenced but in true can-do style shooters donned yellow glasses and sent the clays flying. The weather and lack of shooting due to Covid-19 made the events challenging w...ith only two shooters, Janet Barden (Narrabri) and Scott Moody (Coonamble), bringing out the red ink. Janet shot a possible in the 25 target Handicap and Scott in the 30 target Mixed events. In a field that was top heavy, 8 of 15 shooters were AA grade, Coonamble did well. Overall High Gun, AA High Gun and B grade High Gun were taken out by Coonamble shooters, Glen Harvey, Steve Walker and Ken Fisher respectively. The A grade High Gun was taken out by Mark Barden from Narrabri. Congratulations to all shooters for making it a great day and a big thank you to those club members who arrived early to make the grounds ready and ensure that the event was Covid-19 compliant. 09.01.2022 Just a reminder with everything that's going on at the moment our Golden Grain 2 day shoot has been postponed indefinitely. Fingers crossed we can have this shoot later in the year. Until then, stay safe and take care. Cheers, Waylon.

07.01.2022 Greetings Shooters, The Coonamble Clay Target Club is now registred with NSW Government as a COVID safe "business". We currently anticipate running our next monthly shoot on Saturday 18th July, subject to weather and restrictions. A notice will be posted closer to the date to confirm. Please make sure you check back for details.

07.01.2022 Hello All, The date is getting closer. 14th & 15th of March. There is plenty of camping space. Please share it around. Hope to see you all there.

03.01.2022 This Saturday and Sunday the Warren Gun Club is hosting the 24th annual Golden Ibis and Dennis Hunt memorial shoot which this year is in conjunction with the We...stern Zone carnival. Every year the event draws shooters from across the state, all with hopes of taking out the golden brooch and last year’s winner travelled up from Hay to beat the field of 80 competitors. The club members have been working hard to have the grounds and club house prepared for all of the visitors this weekend and recent rain has got the range looking lush and green. The weekend wouldn’t be possible without the support of the community and our sponsors so I would like to give a big thank you to Splat Plumbing Services, MTH Mobile Welding, Gunpro, the Hunt Family, Warren Services Club, Warren Supa Iga, Macquarie Toyota, Collie Hotel, and The Beauty Room. And as always, the weekend wouldn’t be half the event it is without the huge effort the women in the club put in to ensure that there is a generous supply of tasty food and snacks over the two days. We encourage the community to come out to the club over the weekend to have a look at the sport, enjoy some good food or share a beer and yarn around the bar. We look forward to seeing you next weekend, Rick O’Shay.
