12.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS FLASH! The 2021 Coonabarabran show will go ahead, but due to COVID restrictions and uncertainty earlier in the year, we will only be running a one day show on Saturday the 13th of March The 2021 show will have many of the things we look forward to every year including horse events, livestock, art display, rides, entertainment and my favourite, the fireworks! The annual show is the Coonabarabran communities’ show and we are asking the community to help ou...t in 2021. We are grateful for our regular volunteers who work so hard every year to put on the show, but due to the increased workload in holding a COVID safe event we will need help from the community. We ask that community members and community groups get in contact with us and lend a hand for the 2021 show. The 2021 show will look different, with some restrictions with how we do things. We ask the community to be patient and adapt to the new ways of doing things. The Coonabarabran show committee is looking forward to working with the other show committees in our region to share the workload. We will be providing volunteers to help other committees run their shows and intern, they will provide volunteers to help us run our show. I think this is a great way of pooling our resources, and I look forward to working with the Binnaway, Baradine and Mendooran committees. If community members would like to get involved, or stewards would like to discuss how they can run their events they can contact Callen Thompson on 0428 125 906 See more
