25.01.2022 Congratulations to Northparkes Mines celebrating 25 years of contributing to, and supporting the Central West of New South Wales. Cooper Films were proud to be a part of the celebrations by producing this film.

23.01.2022 The drought we are experiencing is one of the hardest in recent times. Primary producers and small businesses across the central west of New South Wales are suffering financial hardship. With little or no rain forecast and after a dry winter, there is little left to sustain their economy. On Sunday Tom, Noah and I visited Condobolin in the Lachlan Shire and spoke to locals about the effects of the drought on water allocation, farming and local businesses. One of the unsung issues of the drought for small regional towns is the lack of opportunity for young people, and how the youth (the future) of the small towns are leaving. Here is some insight from the locals of Condobolin.

22.01.2022 Cooper Films recently produced CPC Engineering's Track Skirt promotional film. Track Skirt greatly lowers dust on conveyors and eliminates confined space maintenance needed on other systems. Track Skirt reduces maintenance time by 50%. The advantage to Track Skirt is that the skirts are adjustable to the belts, thus reducing wear on the skirt line, and spillage from the belts, and most importantly dust and particulates. CPC's Track Skirt innovation is a credit to their commitment to excellence and innovation in mining.

22.01.2022 Cooper Films have produced over 36 films in 6 months covering over 10,000kms for Local Land Services across the state of New South Wales. I must make a special note recognising Rachel Gordon The 17th Photographer, who traveled with me, producing stunning photos for our case studies. Together we have covered wonderful stories of how Local Land Services through Sustainable Land Management are improving farmers bottom line, while ensuring our natural environment is retained for future generations. Here is Kristain's story from Sextonville 60 kms north of Casino.

19.01.2022 Here is our 2019 show reel for Cooper Films. It's been a big year.

13.01.2022 Cooper Films recently produced an exciting innovation from Titeline Underground Drilling. Titeline's Underground Robotic Drill remotely drills without the need for manual handling. The drill has a small footprint and its tracks are agile for small spaces. The combined benefits in efficiency and safety are the forefront of excellence in mining. It was a privilege to film Titeline's investment in research and development at Ballarat and trials of the drill at MMG's Rosebery mine in Tasmania.

11.01.2022 It is my absolute privelege to work with Charlie Bubb and Danny Maksacheff in filming and producing this encouraging and motivating film. We have all been touched by suicide and this is our small part at sending out the message that you are worth fighting for. We have produced, filmed and edited this film to make a difference particularly given the current crisis of COVID 19 and the isolation felt across Australia. Please share.

11.01.2022 Cooper Films produced a number of films at Junjira in the picturesque Capertee Valley. Junjira is one of the properties in the Capertee Valley that is part of a project to increase the area of habitat for the critically endagered Regent honeyeater. Over 250 hectares of habitat has been established through revegatation efforts. However the trees were planted a little too densely and thrived so much that they were outcompeting each other for moisture, nutrients and light and the canopy needed to be thinned to encourage a more natural woodland. The thinning was done under conditions outlined in a certificate under the Land Management Code to ensure there was not over or under thinning.

08.01.2022 Forestry Corporation is currently looking for seasonal firefighters as part of their summer crews. Cooper Films were previleged to film/produce a series of films as part of Forestry Corporations recruitment campaign for 2019.

07.01.2022 It was a privilege to film the annual fund raising ball for the districts Ronald McDonald House based in Orange. This fantastic facility offers accomodation to families who's children are in hospital. I am so very proud of Orange and district in supporting our fellow Australians in need. My hat goes off to all the organisers, volunteers and sponsors for a wonderful night and for all they do helping families in need.

07.01.2022 Cooper Films recently produced a VNR (Video News Release) for The Department of Primary Industries of the first of three Doppler weather radars that will greatly improve the access of up to date weather forecasting for primary producers and emergency services. Deputy Premier John Barilaro and Minister for Agriculture Adam Marshall opened the project with the building of the first installation at Brewarrina NSW. This instalaltion will be one of three radars that will cover ove...r 80 percent of the state. The other two radars will be built in Parkes and Hillston. Cooper Films travelled to Brewarrina in northern NSW to film the instalation and to interview Deputy Premier John Barilaro, Minister for Agriculture Adam Marshall and Jane Golding from the Bureau of Meterology about this great innovation for regional New South Wales. This VNR was then produced for all media outlet across the state.

07.01.2022 Cooper Films recently produced a commercial for our very own Millthorpe Providore. The commercial will debut on Prime TV this Sunday in Canberra, the Central West and Metro markets.

05.01.2022 Cooper Films recently produced a number of films for Local Land Services about Summerland House Farm. Summerland House Farm is a disability services enterprise on the north coast. During planning for expansion of an avocado plantation, expert native vegetation identification and advice from Local Land Services led to the discovery of a rare plant species growing on paddock trees that were to be removed. Under the Land Management Code, a solution was found that allowed the plantation to proceed while conserving and protecting an endangered species.
