02.01.2022 KING OF THE MOUNTAIN SPONSORSHIP 2013 The Pomona King of the Mountain Festival and Race is now in its 35th year. Each year the towns population swells to well... over 10,000 allowing Pomonas businesses and community groups to take advantage of the increase in visitors to showcase their wares throughout the weekend. The Lions Club work hard every year to create the best, most enjoyable event and this year will be no exception. The giant screen has again been hired and will enable live coverage of the races and other activities to be viewed by all in the park. Sponsors will be allocated advertising time on the screen to publicise their business. No doubt this major initiative will assist in the professionalism of the event whilst showcasing our town to a greater audience. This year we are requesting local businesses to participate as sponsors with a cash sponsorship to support the many expenses it takes to run such an event such as hire of equipment, promotion of the event, security and clean-up. We are asking for a minimum of $100 and in return will provide an advertising spot on the big screen and recognise you as a sponsor on our program and website. As an added incentive, businesses that come on board as a cash sponsor will go into the draw for a great prize which will be drawn on the day. Note this is only open to sponsors not general public. Please take time to consider this request and please give as much as you can. If you cannot provide cash sponsorship, please consider providing us with a prize that we can utilise in our fundraising efforts. Without your support we cannot guarantee the ongoing festival in its present form. We look forward to having your business participate in this great event.
