We cannot thank her enough for all the hard work and dedication she has put into making this place truly wonderful and we are looking forward to having a drink with her on the other side of the bar ... For us, this means the Coorow Hotel is looking for a General Manager to run the busy, family-friendly country bar, restaurant and hotel. You need to be; enthusiastic, friendly, hard-working, community-minded have hospitality experience and a passion for the industry be an Approved Manager or willing to obtain be confident using a POS system and have strong computer skills ideally have some cooking experience and general understanding of how to run a commercial kitchen Your responsibilities will include a bit of everything; HR management - staffing, training, rosters, payroll stock control/ordering food and beverage menus costing and pricing marketing - inc social media general administration banking, monthly reconciliation in-house event planning and off-site catering Training will be provided where necessary. Working alongside you will be a chef/cook and two or three casual bar/housekeeping staff. The position is full-time (40/50 hours a week) and would suit a single person, or a couple/family. Free on-site accommodation is available (3-bedroom apartment with high ceilings, jarrah floors, balcony, bath, air conditioning and open wood-fire). Remuneration package will be negotiated depending on experience.
