05.01.2022 Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, We pray that you are safe and well during this testing time for all of us. We would like to encourage you at this time to draw even closer to your Lord and Saviour, to truly pray not only for our own safety and health, but the health and safety of everyone, family, friends, enemies, government leaders. The Lord tells us in His word (the Bible) to love your enemies, just as you love yourself. Now more than ever, each and every one of us ha...ve plenty of time to pray, to seek the Lord during this isolation period. We believe that the Lord is taking not only us, but the whole world, believer and unbeliever, through a time of true examination, trial and perseverance. Because of this Corona Virus, we have been put in a position, as you know, where we can do nothing but follow the directions of the health and Government experts, it is very much a life and death situation, it cannot be ignored or overlooked. Now more than ever, people need the Lord in their lives, He is the greatest expert. Look in the Bible at all the miracles that He performed. It is something we have never experienced or expected. During this time, please follow and listen to the Lord, because He is our one true hope, the only one who reaches down and touches us in our time of need, and we all need Him more than ever, now. We have all encountered different circumstances in our life, but nothing like this, ever. May we encourage you that during this time, pray without ceasing, rejoice in the Lord always, look to Him, more than ever, and be strong in mind, body and spirit. 03.01.2022 Dear Cootamundra Foursquare members, Fe and I are just letting you know that even though COVID-19 restrictions are beginning to ease for various organisations, we will not be opening our church until we can continue as per the past, before COVID-19. Under the current NSW Government guidelines for churches, we are required to be:... - 4 square meters apart, for safe distancing. - 1.5 meters physical distancing at all times, including at meal breaks. - Minimise COVID-19 risks associated with transportation to and from the venue. - Minimise close contact with passengers. - Avoid drinking cups or other shared objects used during the service such as collection plates. Plus, there are a lot more regulations. Please click on or copy and paste this link for more information. https://www.nsw.gov.au//industry-guideli/places-of-worship The reason that we are not opening is because Fe and I personally do not believe that it is safe, and our church building is not big enough to accommodate the 4 square meter rule. When we are back fellowshipping together again, we believe it would be better to do so, without the hindrance of precautions, rules and regulations. The Lord would want everybody to be safe and in good health, rather than take risks. We feel that we all need to be patient, and not to rush into everything, just in case there is a second wave of COVID-19. In regards to being precautious of my own health, I have been under direction from my Cardiologist in Canberra to be careful due to my current heart issues. I also have high blood pressure, are taking medication and are required to have more tests done in Wagga. Please pray for me. With all this being said, we encourage you all to continue joining us as one body, by attending our fortnightly online church services from home. Let’s continue our personal growth and relationship with the Lord, uphold our faith and trust in Him, and hold each other up in prayer at this time.
