25.01.2022 After a fantastic weekend last weekend, please just remember the rules that we have to follow. We appreciate everyone for following them last week. Please, just a reminder that you must sign in on your way in. There is only one entry point and one exit point and that is near the canteen area. Please do not jump the fence. Looking forward to seeing all those smiling faces again this weekend. We have reposted a reminder of the rules. Thank You everyone

19.01.2022 Gday CJS family The teams are finally here for our 8 week social soccer season. The season starts on Saturday 18/07/2020(next Saturday) at Mitchell Park Cootamundra with the Last game on the 5th September. We have put together a season that is different to previous years due to the circumstances we are facing at the moment. To keep the games fun and interesting for the kids we have had to join a few age groups together so there is more than 2 sides to play against. There has... been No Coaches or Managers assigned to the teams. If there is any parent that would like to Coach or Manager please Email [email protected] We will need at least a team manager for each of the 5/6/, 7/8 & 9/10/11. They will need to organise their team before and after a game. There is Covid check sheets and Hand Sanitiser that needs to be picked up and dropped off to the Canteen before and after every game. The teams will need to use the sanitiser before and after each game. We are looking for Coaches for the 12/13/14/15 teams as this is competitive. It is up to the Coaches if they want to have training runs or not. As our focus this year is about getting the kids back on the Soccer field and let them have FUN !!!! If you decide to train there is a Covid return to training guidelines that we got to meet, which the CJS committee will help you out with. A team Manager is a must if there is no Coach. The Draw and information will be sent out by Tuesday to explain the season ahead eg player numbers, times and requirements. Thank you for you patience CJS Committee

18.01.2022 After a disappointing turn out for the AGM we have rescheduled to try again on Tuesday 8th December at the Ex-Services Club at 7pm. Not enough attendance at the next meeting will result in positions not being filled and soccer not continuing in 2021. Please note that you do not have to fill a position, but many help makes light work and will ensure we can continue next season. We do not want to succumb to what this year has already taken away from us, we want to come back bigger and better next year.

17.01.2022 Here is the draw for the season. We have extended it to 9 rounds and will finish up on 12th September. Please check in with us in a few days and we will post information explaining the draw, games and what is expected from players, families and spectators this season to meet COVID-19 requirements. 15.01.2022 Due to the weather today and the forecast for tomorrow, we have decided to cancel all games this weekend. Unfortunately due to COVID there are so many other circumstances to consider now. Have a great weekend everyone and HOPEFULLY we will see you all next weekend. Fingers crossed

14.01.2022 Hello CJS Family Common question (especially for our new members) is what do the kids wear? The requirement is black shorts, blue socks, footy boots and shin pads. You will find that these should all be available at our sport shop here in Coota. Blue socks have been included in your registration and should be available next week. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and as soon as they come in we will let you know. Player shirts will be given out on the first day. These shi...rts will be your responsibility until the end of the season. Please wear these each week. No spare shirts will be given out if you forgot. Please message us if you have anymore questions. 14.01.2022 As this weekend will be our last round of soccer, a reminder to all our CJS players that you will need to hand your player shirts in on Saturday. Please make sure you bring a spare shirt and hand your player shirt to your Coach, Manager or a CJS committee member this weekend. Wagga Futsal along with Football NSW will be working together in developing future stars of tomorrow ‘Futsal Skills 4 All Program’, set to kick off during the next School Holidays in Wagga Wagga. The event will be held on Thursday October 1st at the Equex MPC Centre (Copeland St, Wagga Wagga) from 1pm to 4pm.... The cost will be $50 per player. 07.01.2022 Gday CJS families Important updated information for this weekend. NSW Government has issued new guidelines for community sport.... ***Parents, supporters and clubs are asked to limit the number of people attending games to a minimum so as to avoid the congregation of large crowds around our football pitches. Where feasible, it is suggested that only ONE parent/guardian should accompany children to games. Furthermore, grandparents, aunts/uncles and other family members and supporters should remain home to assist in the prevention of community transmission. For those attending games, please practice good hygiene, social distancing of 1.5 metres between individuals, and as quickly as possible, ‘get in, play, and get out’ so as avoid any unnecessary co-mingling. *** Where sufficient numbers to field a team cannot be achieved cross over players or mixing players from other teams are not allowed. There will be an entry point and exit point down at the Canteen area. We will be taking names and contact details of all Parent or Guardians that enter the fields. Sorry for the inconvenience but we hope that you will all work with us to make the day happen for the kids!!!! Thankyou CJS Committee .

02.01.2022 Great news everyone. We have decided to extend the season until the end of term. That’s right, an extra 2 weeks of soccer to make up for some of the rounds we missed due to the weather. This will take us up to the 26th September. Just a quick note to ask those that play the last games on a Saturday, can you please help us by packing up the fields when your child’s game is done. We would appreciate the help. A big thank you to those that have followed the rules in what hasn’...t been our ‘normal’ season. It has been trying times and we do appreciate it. A very big thank you to those that enter and exit from where you are suppose (near the canteen area). Please do not jump the fence because your child plays on the large field. Please respect the fact we are trying to do the right thing and following the rules so your children can continue to play, and we don’t get shut down for doing the wrong thing. We spend hours each Saturday morning setting up and taping off where you should not be entering. There is one point of entry and one to exit. 01.01.2022 Gday CJS family We are still on target for a Saturday 18th July start to our Cootamundra Junior Soccer season. Teams and draws are being organised at this moment.
