His love for fishing was fostered while growing up on the Sunshine Coast, (Qld) and fishing some of most magical reefs off Mooloolahba. In 1998 Mark moved the Geelong region and learnt that fishing in Victorian waters is a different game and the species just as challenging. Mark is a qualified Cabinet Maker, owns and operates a successful doo...r manufacturing business. He has brought together a passion for fishing with a business venture that will capture the spirit of those who want to experience deep sea fishing without the expense of owning a boat. It’s the dream of a lifetime to turn a passion or hobby into a career and so Coota’s Fishing Adventures has been born. Sushi Hunter Our custom built Edencraft 233 Formula 7.5m vessel with Twin 175 Suzuki motors has been fitted out for your comfort with excellent toilet facilities. Sushi Hunter is fitted with up the latest electronic equipment to make finding the fish a little less of a mission. Your safety and enjoyment is our priority so our trained staff will take you through the operation of the equipment before your adventure begins. Sushi Hunter also has BBQ’s, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, as well as bottled water all included in the price and with a good days fishing its everything you will need to feel comfortable and relaxed. 20.01.2022 Just home from Portland and with accommodation all set up the boat heads down next weekend and both good fish being caught daily it looks like Sushi Hunter is going to get christened on tuna. Bring it on! Anyone up for a fish next weekend ca me 2 spots free?????

17.01.2022 Picture this.......3-4m swell with 25-30knots of slop on top and that's the conditions we christened the Sushi Hunter!!! Verdict----- I was blown away with the overall performance and safety of this vessel. After finding fish with the 3rd rod in the water we quickly dragged 12 albacore and 2 nice tuna into the tank and decided to steam for port happy boys. With weather looking good for Thursday and Friday its a great opportunity to get some mates together and give me a call.... 0418366099. Tight lines

15.01.2022 Getting closer to launch day for Coota's Fishing Adventures, off this week to get rod holders fitted and few more little touches added then ready to rock and roll in March 2013.

11.01.2022 Well what a big 2 weeks at Portland it has been. Weather hasn't been great and to be honest to all punters fishing has been hot and cold. One day bag out and next day donuts. Some charters don't tell it as it is but I will always put the donuts on the board. I have had a ball over the past week with some cracking blokes and some of the funniest trips ever. Safe boating and tight lines !!

10.01.2022 Well what a day for a sea test, think I might have made the co- pilot green, certainly goes to prove the Edgencraft hull is A+ in big water. Looking to sneaking a couple of trips in the bay when the weather picks up over the weekend.

03.01.2022 Well after a great week of weather I only have one more thing to do to the boat before it heads to Portland. A second seat!!!! Waiting on supplier... Boat heads to Portland in a week for 3 months so keep a watch out for the Sushi Hunter in amongst the barrels!! Tight lines and boat safe!
