16.01.2022 Today marks a national day of thanks, Where we commemorate and celebrate the sacrifices of those that have given so much and those currently serving, we do this in the spirit of the Anzac tradition. COPA stands for the community of ocean paddling Australia .... I want to thank all those paddlers that represent @purlplewarriors, An organisation set up by Cameron Bairds’ family who was posthumously awarded the VC. Purple warriors assists ADF personell Adjusting back into life, and among other things helping them through participating in sport. I have been privileged to have been associated with purple warriors through Ray Bennie, they have now established themselves as an outrigger canoe paddling group. Today COPA says thank you.

12.01.2022 Dear dudes and dudets Ive avoided the coaching diatribe that has been spewing out of every source of paddling wisdom known to man. BUT i do have some advice... We dont have to be fast now We dont have to be fit now Its time to have lots of fun while no ones looking or counting or comparing. Go and just try stuff out ,learn to fly the ama. Learn to do a flying portage entry and exit. Learn to listen to the sound your boat and paddle makes,feel what happens when you change your stroke pattern. This time off is a blessing Stay healthy look after each other Start to stretch every day. Slow down on the runners and look for the way through to the next wave. All the stuff we dont have time to do when were trying to win everything Skill baby skill Its time to skill Milsy

06.01.2022 Whilst Currumbin SLSC may not be scattering ashes and hosting the Currumbin RSL Anzac Day Service at their beach tomorrow, they will stay pay tribute in their o...ur own way, like everyone else. This boat was restored for the 100 years of ANZAC in 2015 and Currumbin boaties row the boat out each year on ANZAC Day. Mark Owens restored and owns the boat. Lest We Forget #AnzacDay2020
