15.01.2022 Year 6 Mini-Fete We wish to thank the Year 6 students, for their co-ordination and energy in organising one of the highlights of the year, the Year 6 Mini-Fete. The students have been working for several weeks - developing the idea for their stall, getting equipment organised, decorating posters and organising prizes. They showed their maturity and leadership in the whole process and should all be proud of the result. Students AND staff had loads of fun at all of the stalls. The money raised will go towards a farewell gift that Year 6 will give to the school. The amount we raised from the fete will be announced in the next newsletter. Thank you to all of the Year 6 families who supported the day and to the P&C, who donated the chocolates used for each stall’s major and minor prizes.

10.01.2022 On Thursday, Will, Josie and Raff attended the Southern Central Coast PSSA Tennis Trials at Umina Tennis Club. Big Congratulations to Josie who made it through to Sydney North trials on the 9th March. Raff and Will did extremely well too, considering how tough the competition was with many male competitors. 08.01.2022 Today Kindergarten and Year 1 students participated in a modified athletics carnival at school. The purpose of today’s carnival was to teach students the skills and techniques required to compete in the athletics carnival activities in coming years. The students had a great day and the teachers were so impressed by their effort and the sportsmanship they displayed. True Copa spirit was shown as the children were cheering their friends on in the running races and helping each other during the activities. Thank you to Mrs Bryson for all of her hard work organising the carnival and the dedication shown to provide this amazing opportunity for the K/1 students to shine! What a great day!

02.01.2022 Today, Ranger Mick and Cameron from The Reptile Park visited our school for an incursion with our Kindergarten students. We learnt lots of interesting facts about lots of different reptiles. Ranger Mick even taught us how to stay safe if we come across a snake out in the wild. It was an outstanding and very hands-on experience and the Kindergarten students were very brave! Much braver than their teachers!
