05.01.2022 On the 4th December I sent a parcel with AusPost for Express mail service the parcel contained pandora jewelry worth around $1300. I paid extra fees for the package to be signed by the receiver on delivery and AusPost told me it would take 2-3weeks when EMS is supposed to be 5-8 working days to deliver to China because of the Christmas period. They also said I would get a tracking advice email so I can keep track of the parcel which I did not receive any email. 20th December ...I went to the AusPost website and typed in the tracking number for the package it said that it had been delivered and signed by unknown on the 10th December. I called AusPost to make a complaint and ask them why I had not received the tracking advice email and why my parcel wasnt delivered and signed by the receiver when I had paid extra to make sure that it was and why they said it had been delivered but then told me that my parcel was lost. They told me they will give the results in two working days, after the call, I didnt get any feedback from them at all. So I call them again on the 3rd January to ask the same questions but got the same answer that I will reviver the results in two working days. Now, I want to know if its a prohibited parcel why did they allow me to send it in the first place and when I went to send the parcel on 4th of December.
