23.01.2022 Belts finally arrived to start cracking on with some knives. Working on 6 clevers. 1 is already spoken for and another is a custom one in this batch but there will be 4 that when finished will be avaliable for purchase on a first in best dressed basis.

21.01.2022 All of our clevers have their rough bevels ground at 60grit. Now time to go through to 400grit and get holes all drilled prior to hardening and heat treating.

21.01.2022 Felt very privileged this past week to be able to make and deliver an amazing fire place set that I honestly didn’t want to let go of haha. Custom made for a customer with an open fire place who wanted to upgrade their old set but wanted something that would compliment the fire screen they have and have a bit of character to it. All pokers made in two pieces to get a consistent length of 60cm. The stand was made from a large piece of reinforcing bar and the base from solid redgum that had been slightly charred with a blowtorch and coated in linseed oil. All steel was then painted with a high temp pot belly black. Customer was very happy with it.

16.01.2022 WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK! Please read on and comment. It’s coming time for the tough decision on handle material for our clevers that are not yet spoken for. ... What would people be more interested in? I am able to get some G10 scales that come in a variety of different colours and even some Damascus style patterns! Or would people be more interested in wood handles. I believe I have a large block of Tasmanian oak here that is not stabilised that I could use for the handles. Please comment below what you’d like to see!
