25.01.2022 Big thanks to Rachel and Jenna for your efforts in the canteen on Monday!

23.01.2022 This is our giant pumpkin plant. The small schools of the Clarence are holding a little competition to grow the largest giant pumpkin to enter in the Grafton show next year. I want to kick some serious pumpkin so anyone who has a great fertiliser recipe or growing secret please come forward. I have heard that there will be no drug testing so all bets are off! Give me your dirtiest and most unsportsmanlike secrets. We will win this!

13.01.2022 We finally made down to the beach!!

13.01.2022 This was part of the email I received last night from the management team of the Gurrawin performers who came to school yesterday. Hi Andrew, I just wanted to say a quick thank you for allowing us to share culture at your school this year. ... Our facilitators said it was truly a delight to work with you, the two schools and they had a lot of fun. I also wanted to make a mention that we were truly impressed with how well behaved the children were and want to sincerely thank you for putting on a BBQ! It’s really important for us to share knowledge and empower the children to look after Country so for you to allow us to do that is really special and we thank you for making it happen. Always love to hear compliments on the behaviour of our kids!

12.01.2022 NAIDOC celebrations today. A big thank you to the cultural teachers from Gurrawin who came to our school to share their passion for culture with the students, staff and community members of Copmanhurst and Baryulgil schools. Dancing, painting, artefacts, stories, yarning and a smoking ceremony! Big thanks to all the staff who worked the canteen and to our volunteer BBQ cooks. Special mention to Aunty Lynette for the Johnny Cakes and impromptu language lesson! Always was .....Always will be.

10.01.2022 Safe to say that we are having a quiet trip home.
