22.01.2022 It is with much sadness that we advise of the passing earlier today of Shed foundation member and Supervisor Peter Hausler [Bulldog]. Peter was a strong supporter of the Men's Shed movement and the Copper City Men's Shed at Cobar. He will be greatly missed by his Shed mates and the Community of Cobar who benefited from his skills and knowledge.... Rest easy Peter your work in the Shed is done .

22.01.2022 'The Copper City Men"s Shed Cobar is proud to announce that our Shed is supported by funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and the AMSA under the National Shed Development Program.' The $3,000 funding from round 20 of the Program has allowed the Shed Committee to replace our obsolete smaller Band Saw with a larger state of art machine which will serve our members well into the future.

18.01.2022 Great to welcome the Member for Parkes the Hon Mark Coulton to the Copper City Men's Shed this afternoon . Mark visited the Shed to inspect the New Band Saw that the Shed Committee recently purchased with a grant of $3,000 . Funding for this grant came from the The Australian Government Department of Health National Shed Development Programme.... This new band saw will replace an obsolete smaller band saw that the Shed members have used for the past 10 years.

06.01.2022 We are Back!! The Copper City Men's Shed Cobar will reopen on Tuesday the 7th July 2020. Current Covid19 restrictions will apply.... The Shed will resume normal opening arrangements of Tuesdays and Fridays 8 am until 12 noon. New members always welcome in the Shed.

04.01.2022 Many thanks to Peak Gold Mines for their financial donation to the Copper City Men's Shed . This much appreciated donation has allowed us to build another roller shutter fixings cupboard in our shed.
