24.01.2022 253 days apart from our family and friends in Victoria ends at midnight TONIGHT. It’s been a long time coming and I acknowledge that it hasn’t been an easy 8 m...onths for those divided by our borders. But from the moment this pandemic started, we have taken the advice of our health experts to keep the people of South Australia safe and strong. I wish everyone reuniting with loved ones a safe and happy reunion.

21.01.2022 KADINA DOG PARK OPENING It was great to see many residents and their furry friends attend the official opening of the Kadina Dog Park yesterday Mayor Roslyn Talbot shared a heartwarming story about a lady who spoke of how the park has been an excellent way for not only her dog to socialise, but herself to engage with community members ... Thank you to all those who attended, including elected members, Rotary Club of Northern Yorke Peninsula's Paul Thomas and Kadina Dog Park Working Party's Laura Foreman, who had the honour of assisting with the ribbon cutting If there is one thing we've learnt from a Dog Park opening, it's photos featuring multiple dogs will forever be imperfectly perfect!

20.01.2022 A COPPER COAST CHRISTMAS The COVID-19 restrictions may have cancelled some of our community Christmas and New Year events, but there will still be some joyous celebrations on the Copper Coast The 2020 Moonta Christmas Carols at the Moonta Oval will go ahead on Sunday, 13 December, but in a COVID-Safe manner ... The event will be ticketed for contact tracing purposes, with all free tickets available at the following locations: Taste the Yorke Nook & Nourish Moonta Newsagency Marshall's Mens & Boys Wear Moonta Railway Station With gates opening at 4.30pm, best to get in early and secure your spot for Santa's arrival at 5.30pm and before the caroling begins at 6pm This year's Christmas in Kadina Pageant & Carols has been cancelled, but the Elves of the Apex Club of Kadina will still deck the streets with Christmas decorations The Santa Trail will also go ahead with maps available for purchase at Copy King from December 11, while stocks last!
