25.01.2022 National Trust SA (Moonta Branch) are happy to announce the gradual reopening of our venues to the public. Monday 1st June will see our Moonta Mines Sweet Shop ...open from 10am until 4pm and our Moonta Tourist Office open to the public from 10am to 4pm daily also. The Family History and Resource Centre in Ellen Street, will reopen at 1pm until 4pm on Tuesday 2nd June. Our reopening plans have been lodged and we will be following SA Government Regulations around COVID-19 Social Distancing and Hygiene. We expect our Moonta Tourist Train, Moonta Mines Museum, Miner’s Cottage will reopen by Saturday 6th June in time for the long weekend influx of visitors. 10.01.2022 Splash Town, a free to use community waterpark, is OPEN for the SA School holidays This season we will have 2 daily sessions, 11 am to 2pm and 2.30 pm to 5.30... pm. A Covid-19 sign in will be required to be confirmed with the on-site staff member before you will be able to receive your session wristband/s. Numbers will be limited to 250 per session (this includes adults and babies). Entry is via the ticket booth and gate along the side of Splash Town. No bookings will be taken.
