20.01.2022 Great to see client, Esto Wines new accommodation site live. And fantastic to work with Studio Spark and Brad Griffin Photography who took care of the website design and gorgeous photos. Having been fortunate enough to take a tour through each of the homesteads, I can attest to them being as utterly charming as they look. The views..... magnificent!

19.01.2022 Really fantastic to get feedback from a 2017 client today. Their site has been ranking #1 (organically) for loads of their target keywords since it's launch. Their competitors are dying to know how they do it The secret: a well-optimised website and website content. ... Unfortuately, I get the feeling they won't be referring me to the competition. D'oh!

19.01.2022 I the Mythbusters! Check out their absolutely brilliant experiment that demonstrates just how easily (and how far!) contamination can spread and why we need to be so vigilant about washing our hands and not touching our face. And not just during the Covid-19 pandemic - this should be standard practice at all times. The follow on video also shows the best way to stifle sneezes (spoiler: into your elbow) - the link is here if it doesn't load up next: https://www.youtube.com.../watch?v=3vw0hIs2LEg So practice good hygiene, keep your distance, and be kind to those trying hard to do their jobs in trying conditions xx

15.01.2022 Love seeing the before & after results of client's sites. The right design and content can make all the difference in the world!

15.01.2022 This morning I had the privilege of chatting with Chris Carpenter on Hills Radio 88.9FM about how the Coronavirus is affecting sole traders, freelancers and independent contractors - and how the stimulus measures stack up. I also outlined a range of tips and strategies for both sole traders and SMEs to consider if they've not done so already to reduce outgoings and increase incomings. I hope the sole traders out there find something useful in here and I'd love to hear any f...urther tips you can give to help us all get through this as best we can. I'm also going to be creating another page with links to useful information - but as I still have a few client jobs to complete, I need to spend some time on that for the remainder of the week. http://www.copybreak.com.au/hills-radio-88-9fm-interview-w/

12.01.2022 There are something like 4.1 million freelancers in Australia who make up 1/3 of the workforce. We don't get sick leave, and we don't get paid unless we're working on client projects. With business spending contracting and numerous projects being cancelled in the wake of the bushfires and corona virus, freelancers are now losing millions in income and many are facing very dire circumstances. Yet freelancers and sole traders without employees were completely overlooked in th...e government's stimulus package. We get no tax relief or cash benefits to help us survive the economic effects of these unprecedented events. So we've decided to speak up. Please add your voice to ours in demanding better economic protection for the many freelancers who are among the most vulnerable in Australia's workforce. And be sure to share with any freelancers you know. #savethefreelancers

11.01.2022 An excellent visual demonstration of how to correctly wash your hands.

10.01.2022 Excited to be taking on another accommodation website in the gorgeous Adelaide Hills, once again working with talents of Studio Spark and Brad Griffin Photography. But it got me thinking... what do you love/hate to see on accommodation websites? Or what questions do you always have that never seem to be answered? I always love good, clear photos of the kitchen and bathroom facilities. If all I get is grainy photos of sunsets and the bedroom, it makes me dubious of the other ...facilities and less inclined to make a booking. How about you? What makes you decide to book and stay (or run away)?

10.01.2022 I had SOOOO much fun working on this project. Especially the product descriptions. Stickm are an Australian company who have created a super-fun range of customisable, removable/reusable wall stickers for kids parties, bedrooms, play areas and more. There are monsters, unicorns, dinosaurs, jungle creatures and heaps more totally cool sticker themes. ... Check 'em out!

09.01.2022 This is why it's so important to respect physical distancing and reduce unnecessary interaction at this stage. https://thespinoff.co.nz//Covid-19-Transmission-graphic-01

04.01.2022 Super, super excited to finally see the new website for client Access Capital live! They were fantastic to work with Meanwhile, with the current $150k asset write-off for businesses, this might be a great time to chat to them about some equipment finance and where to find the right deal to suit your needs. ... Another successful collaboration between myself and web designers and online marketing specialists Edynam (find them here: www.edynam.com).

02.01.2022 That wonderful feeling of finishing a huge project. <..happy dance..>

01.01.2022 Ah yes... the manglification of perfectly good words by corporate jargonistas everywhere!
