24.01.2022 Wishing everyone a Happy Australia.

24.01.2022 I love these signs at Henley Beach because they show that some councils are happy to use the ‘carrot’ rather than the ‘stick’ approach. I’m pretty sure research shows that it works better. And in the 3rd photo, we have proof! Thanks for thinking outside the box, Charles Sturt

24.01.2022 I laughed when I saw this unique Garage Sale sign today. And it did the trick.

24.01.2022 A good sentiment. Have a Happy New Year and see you in 2020!

23.01.2022 Ok. I thought I posted this before and even got comments, but it disappeared. (Maybe the council took it away!) Anyway, here it is again. The word I thought of when I saw these bins is 'OPTIMISTIC'.

23.01.2022 Happy Adelaide Cup Long Weekend to everyone EXCEPT whoever it was that signed off on this gem. It’s not an apostrophe. Maybe it’s a fascinator

21.01.2022 Remember direct marketing? Often overlooked in these days of 'everything online' it's a great way to get past the email gatekeepers and right in front of the person you want to talk to. Here's what a new Copy with Cream customer is doing to beat the competition... https://www.linkedin.com//remember-direct-marketing-its-b/

20.01.2022 I keep reading in The Advertiser that business confidence in SA is on the up, so I thought I'd do some market research of my own. I found proof at Loveon Cafe Xpress on Marion Road, Richmond.

20.01.2022 I don't often mix personal and business but when I think a message is this important, it's time. If you feel the same about Origin's plans for fracking in the NT, please pass it on.

18.01.2022 It’s a bit late in the day to start sharing my 2019 calendar with you, but here goes. I thought about common sense when I read something in the paper the other day. Evidently, we are now supposed to indicate when we are waiting for a car to exit a carpark so we can get into that carpark. I’m sure I learnt this way back when and WHY AREN’T WE DOING THIS ANYWAY??? As my friends and I say to each other often ‘common sense is not common’

18.01.2022 Here’s another page from my calendar. No matter who or what you worship, I reckon this covers it.

18.01.2022 I love seeing these. Because they’re proof that I’m not ALONE in the Universe with my crazy apostrophe obsession. If you’re with me, please share this with a friend who needs help with their apostrophe placement. Thankyou.

17.01.2022 I am always telling my business clients, ‘don’t hide your light under a bushel!’. If you’re doing something good, let people know. Here are 2 supermarket chains who are doing just that. Brighton’s Foodland and Woolies. What can you share with your clients? Check out some more ideas here. https://www.copywithcream.com.au/blog

16.01.2022 I volunteer at a local op shop where the manager is a bit of a copywriter herself. This sign of hers on the fridge is a doozy as you read it, the sarky tone builds nicely. Good use of colour and ALL CAPITALS add to the message.

13.01.2022 Ruggy’s at Brighton Foodland seem to have all bases covered

12.01.2022 Brighton Foodland has embraced the toilet paper debacle with this gem of a competition. Win a year's worth! Love it so much I even forgive them the omission of an apostrophe...

12.01.2022 When's the best time to spend money on advertising? When nobody else is. Find out more about how to get miles ahead while your competition is snoozing. https://www.linkedin.com//best-time-spend-your-money-adve/

11.01.2022 I saw this fabulous Golden North sign from the 1950s in an antique store and just had to take a (bad, oops reflection) photo. I just love the tagline... though I think their current one 'From the heart of the country' may be a little more appropriate...

09.01.2022 No matter what your politics, I reckon this election sign is one we can all agree upon.

08.01.2022 I actually followed this Clucking Truck till I could get a good pic because I loved the business name so much. Very clever. A great use of humour which makes it very memorable.

05.01.2022 This is what we have to look at when we’re stuck at the Marion/Sturt Rd traffic lights. The sign reminds me of that famous 70s song, blockin’ up the scenery, breaking my minddo this don’t do that, cancha read the si-i-i-i-i-gn Personally, I think this UGLY fence would be greatly IMPROVED by those bills that are banned. In fact, if it was MY fence, the sign would say this Bills welcome in exchange for free tickets. Surely a win-win.

05.01.2022 Yet another great sign from The Market Bunch Flowers, Jetty Road Brighton. I like the sign and I’m also happy because they got the apostrophe right in Valentine’s Day. Yeay!
