25.01.2022 Done but, I took a few days off turpentine fumes!!! Still a bit of glue on the floor, fingers crossed the sander will knock that over. I have been using the heat gun!!! This is a small passage, But a BIG pain, to me, chipping away at it!

25.01.2022 Our 6th Great Southern Rail dinner tonight, marquee this time, the prediction of bad weather, had everyone on edge. Chilly but no storm.

24.01.2022 3rd bedroom. Mr Thomas Bakers bedroom. Another gorgeous ceiling rose. Painted by Garry. We may have the furniture back in it by next weekend.... Totally OVER the disruption and dust. No pain, no gain. See more

22.01.2022 The carpet looks quite orange in the photo, It is still wet.

22.01.2022 The folly is coming together. Sorry to the Matthews family, we have used the carpet from the Hall, to hopefully stop the weeds. The plan is to put rocks all over it. Once I have all succulents in place. Come and have a look, Open Days, April 19th and May 3rd Cheers Sharyn, Garry and Harrison

20.01.2022 We have the arbour back for the rose garden. Plans coming together.

18.01.2022 3rd bedroom finished, we still need the chandelier to be wired in. 13 weeks ago, I had the brain wave, brain flip, to start this renovation, passage will be also completed this week. 2 rooms to go in Mr George Pringle Robertsons, build of Coragulac House.

16.01.2022 Painful is all I can say, and looking at them, the single window needs tweeking!!!! Furniture tomorrow.

14.01.2022 The second Great Southern Railway Finale Dinner at Coragulac House @ Coragulac House

14.01.2022 Sadly this was our last Great Southern Rail event, last night. All over. A great deal of FUN, over the last 8 weeks. They will be back later this year, Fabulous tourism for Australia. The International media gave this train glowing recommendations.... We met people from many many countries. A very BIG THANK YOU, to Yeowarra catering, the food was outstanding, and everyone told us so. Tassia and Mali, priceless ladies to help us, Sarah, just your presence, calmed me. Peter Duffy Trio (from Camperdown) music, wonderful. Our Harry, H you were outstanding. Now to get back to working on Coragulac House. See more

14.01.2022 Stain and 1 coat of finish. Shadow at this time of night. We may have 1 room back tomorrow, a FEW delays!! Disappointing, but what can you do????

13.01.2022 My men found my next garden folly, it was delivered today. 4th Great Southern Train, dinner over for tonight. 102 guests.

12.01.2022 So quarantine was a good time to make a MESS. This is the passage, belonging to 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, front of the house. A high traffic area, once, beautiful cream carpet. Carpet, underlay, staples and nails removed, 4 to 5 hours a day, I have been at it for 7 or 8 days.... What was underneath, was a rubber based carpet stuck to the floor. Turpentine is the only thing that will remove it. See more

11.01.2022 Ceiling fixed, painting started

11.01.2022 I did not mention the chandelier, we have 2 of them. A VERY VERY DEAR friend gave them to us.

10.01.2022 The other way, there is still 6 feet of floor behind me. The door at the end, was the original front door, on the East side, it was once, in the now, blue bedroom. Mr A S Chirnside, Werribee Mansion, Chirnsides, literally rebuilt Coragulac House, when he bought it in 1895. A lady came to us in 2019, she is writing a book on the house, she has information, None of us know about, yet. It was to be released next year, fingers crossed.

10.01.2022 We have our cricket pitch/hall way back. LOVELY TO SEE IT AGAIN. It has had excess furniture stored in it, and dust, lots of dust from the adjoining passage. Slowly getting areas back to normal, the wooden box on the left side wall is the electrical box for the manual turning on of lights, 1900.

08.01.2022 Bike found thank you. Dumped overnight at the Red Rock picnic ground. We walked that area yesterday. A few of bits missing. Grateful that we have it back.

07.01.2022 I Love this material, as I have said very PAINFUL. I found similar in Sydney, not enough of it, the lady selling it, said no one has swags and tails anymore We all know, swags and tails, are a must for our windows!! Then I found a lady, based in Perth, until COVID-19 allows her to travel back to Vic. Her name is Fiona, she owns Fine French Linen Austalia.... I bought some, it arrived, totally the wrong colour! She very graciously took it back and refunded, us. The gold curtains in the green room are recycled from our living room. Fun Fun Fun See more

07.01.2022 Green fire place, green walls, Jennine this is the light we bought from Vinnies, thanks to you

06.01.2022 Just stunning, a big thank you to Trish. There is a beautiful story to this chandelier. Which will be told.

05.01.2022 The fun of an old home, Garry had blocked all of the possums entry points, they had clawed at 3 areas of the slate roof, another storm Friday night, and well the photos say it all. The purple bedroom, Mr Bakers room, those that have been here, will know it. We HOPE everyone is staying safe, isolation is our norm, this place keeps us busy. We have an add running on all the channel 9 sites, Who has seen it?? Hope to see you, on the other side of this, be SAFE EVERYONE.... Sharyn, Garry and Harrison See more

04.01.2022 Hello everyone. For those of you that have WhatsApp, be careful. There is a video on it, called Argentina is doing it DO NOT OPEN, it hacks your phone in 10 seconds and cannot be stopped!!!!! CNN has just reported, on it.... WHAT NEXT!!!! We hope you, your families and friends are all safe and well, and that it stays that way. As I have said to our family and friends, WE will get through this insidious thing, it is tough and scary, but we will see you on the other side. We wish the same for you all, stay safe, stay apart, goodness knows when, but we will all dance in the streets. Kindest Kindest Regards Sharyn, Garry and Harrison Gibson xxx

04.01.2022 Green room, love it

03.01.2022 Anyone know whos dog this is, wandered into our property this afternoon, he did have another dog with him who took off when he saw our dogs, contact either me or Sharyn if you know him, they came in from Alvie direction

01.01.2022 Waiting on a ceiling rose, for this beauty. Blue fireplace, now a blue room. And a lot of the garden has had a make over as well. Photos of that when the arbour/seated arch comes back.... Another gorgeous spot for Weddings. See more
