22.01.2022 We’re fielding lots of questions on messenger relating to the allowable number of people you can ride with. I’ve highlighted the relevant section on the screenshot. This is up to date as of 3/4 but it is an ever changing world. Remember folks, keep your distance, ride to your local trails instead of driving to those far far away and don’t gather in groups anywhere while riding. If we abide by these stipulations we might retain the privilege of exercising outdoors. PS. Dial it down #mellowtheshredsaveahospitalbed

20.01.2022 Corca ride Saturday. Peachester, and it looks like another cracking weekend.

17.01.2022 Corca's Saturday ride was gold at Wooroi. Under some thick cloud cover 35 riders showed up for challenge of these amazing network of trails. About 10 Corca Cruisers joined in at the start before launching off on their own adventure. Later chatting to Nikki over coffee at Doonan cafe it sounded like a great, fun ride. Thanks Kelly for leading that group. Lynden took the reigns of the bunch and led us on a sweet tour that encompassed all the fun stuff. A few split off towar...ds the cars at the end while we headed up to the bollards for the grand finale and a full secrets dash to home. 28km exactly. I hear there were a couple of minor offs, a stick through the wheel left a broken spoke for Dean and a fail dropper post for Shane. Huge success everyone. Looking forward to next week at victory heights already. P.S. thanks all for filling out the covid contract form. A bit of a pain but a requirement. See more

16.01.2022 Attention ! - Corca Rides are On Again.

16.01.2022 We can still have club rides ‘virtually’ every Saturday.

14.01.2022 EASING OF RESTRICTIONS AND CLUB RIDES Strap yourself in. This post is a bit wordy. Sorry........ Just want to let you all know where we’re at with phasing back ...in of the general ride calendar. This may not reflect what’s happening in CORCA Kids or WOW as those numbers can be easier to manage. As most of you would already be aware phase one of restriction lifting is hopefully coming in as of midnight this Friday (15th). It will allow for groups of up to 10 people doing non contact outdoor activities together. Phase Two is theoretically from Midnight June 12th where the number gets increased to 20. Phase Three (and we need to cross fingers and toes) will take place midnight, Friday, July 10th, allowing for up to 100. Ride wise we know everyone is busting to get out there and do club rides. The idea has been floated of doing club rides as of this Saturday but breaking into groups of 10 or under. But we’ve decided we’re better off waiting until Phase Two before kicking off OFFICIAL club rides. Logistically it’s way less of a headache and legally easier to be ‘seen’ as doing the right thing as a Club. Meanwhile, instead of official rides we’d like y’all to post your own rides as ‘Tag-along’ if you’re happy to have others join you. That way, people get more of an opportunity to ride together. They don’t even need to be Saturday morning. Just post your details and maybe get interested riders to PM you so you have an idea of numbers. Oh, and remember to stay within the confines of Social Distancing See you all on the trails soon

12.01.2022 Some rides are memorable for the awesome landscapes and vistas. Some rides for flowy trails and berms that send it. Some rides for the first time you clear a massive gap jump. Today's ride for great company in beautiful surrounds. Our Corca club ride was a 25km XC around Ewan Maddock Dam and Ferny Forest. Over 30 riders fronted up amidst forecast rain conditions but the heavens waited till we were all done before dropping buckets of wet stuff from the sky. Rob Buckingham ...(Chef) opted to ride home and was in for a bike wash and shower on the way. With President steve leading one group via the tunnel Neil heads off with 18 around the dam. A thrown out challenge for a sprint up the hill was taken up with Erica QOM and daughter Jordan close behind. A small breakaway group led by Toby with Mike & Grant diverted for another hour of "riding". Later found out they went for coffee. And the finale.... free sausage sizzle and ice cold drinks thanks to corca surplus. It was great to see some of the next gen riding along side the vets. And not one but three mother-daughter duos and father daughter and son combos too. Incident and mechanical free riding through beautiful natural bushland. See more

12.01.2022 EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY We, the committee, responsibly announce that all organised CORCA club rides will be suspended until such time that that it’s no longer a necessity for social distancing due to COVID-19. This includes our Saturday morning, CORCA Kids, Young Guns, Dirty Weekends and WOW rides. Please understand we are fiercely proud of what we’ve built as a club and the ride community we’ve helped grow. But at this time we feel it’s not morally right to promote rides tha...t could 1) Potentially aid the spread of the virus. And 2) Put extra strain on the medical system in the case of accidents. We understand that outdoor exercise with friends is vitally important for our health and wellbeing. Please, PLEASE, please, don’t stop. Go for rides, just in smaller groups. The club won’t be organising rides, but you, our members, can organise them amongst yourselves. Maybe even use this as a platform to look for a riding buddy or two. BUT be mindful of social distancing (this includes but is not limited to car pooling) and stay home if you’re unwell or have recently returned from overseas. Stay safe in these unprecedented times. Get out and enjoy the great outdoors while you can. See you on the trails soon....... just in smaller groups See more

05.01.2022 Saturday is looking like perfect conditions to send it! Hopefully see you there.

01.01.2022 Saturday's ride has changed due to soggy conditions. We will now be offering a pathway ride leaving Sugarbag Carpark at 7am. Riding about 35km [or 2 hours]. Coffee on route. Suitable for all levels.
