We are putting a call out to our members to sign the petition to legislate that Gyms are and essential service for ...Mental health, Physical health and Wellbeing. In the legislation we request that the government set out a COVID-19 Safe Plan outlining strict rules, guidelines and hygienic practices that will ensure the safety of all gym staff and its members. Keeping attendance at limits, safe distancing procedures, temperature checks, stringent cleaning and hygiene practices to prevent any close interaction or spread of covid-19. We believe that especially during this incredibly difficult time, the health of our community needs to be addressed and given a safe space to focus on their overall wellbeing. 15.01.2022 Letting all members know there is a change to our current class booking system. GymMaster has done an upgrade to the booking system. This change means that classes will not open for bookings at 6am. Instead they will only be available for booking at the time the class will commence. For example if you are wanting to book the 9.15am class on Thursday it will not be available for booking until 9.15am Monday. Booking a 5.30pm class on a Thursday will be able to be booked from 5.30pm Monday. Bookings in the club coincide with the app. Please ensure that you download the GymMaster app for all class bookings. The Core24 app is no longer operational. We would like to thank all our members for following the club rules since our opening.

09.01.2022 With the State Government announcement of stage 3 restrictions being reinstated as of midnight tonight, our planned opening date for Term 3 will be postponed. ...We are a little heartbroken, but committed to the health and safety of our swimmers, families, staff and community as a whole. The team at Core 24 are deeply grateful for all the wonderful support you’ve shown through this tough time. We had lots of excited swimmers and teachers excited to be back in the water, but we’ll just have to hold off a little longer. All Direct Debits will be suspended for the duration of the closure. Core 24 Somerville will be closed as of 8pm tonight, with Frankston and Mornington closing at 9pm tonight. We hope you all stay safe and healthy in the coming weeks. As we know more we will keep you posted via email.

03.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS GROUP EXERCISE 20 Participants per class We have some exciting news in regards to our group fitness classes operating within the main group ...fitness studios at Frankston and Mornington. From Monday 6th July we will be able to open 20 places for participants to be able to access classes. The following guidelines have to be adhered to. Each Studio has two separate zones that have been marked on the floor as Zone 1 and Zone 2. Each Zone has a maximum of 10 people You are to stay within the zone you are allocated Equipment can only be used from the allocated zone Towels are compulsory for all workouts Follow team member instructions for entry and exit of Zone You are only to mingle with the people within your Zone You must maintain social distancing of 1.5m at all times For classes to be able to stay at the 20 maximum it is important to follow all the above guidelines at all times. Your assistance and support in this matter is greatly appreciated so we can allow you all to be able to book into your favourite classes. AQUA CLASSES - 16 Participants The Pool has been divided into 2 zones.The same rules apply as for Group Exercise Classes.
