23.01.2022 From the 11th September, Xero will make it compulsory for 2SA (Two step authentication) to be setup - meaning you will only be able to access your Xero account once you have set this up. If you do not use the payroll module within Xero, you have until the 23rd October for setup to be complete. If you require any assistance with this, please contact our office who will be able to help you set this up.

22.01.2022 As you are probably aware, Prime Minister Scott Morrison and the Australian Government announced the 3rd stimulus package yesterday. The 'Job Keeper' stimulus is supporting business' to keep an employee relationship by providing a wage subsidy of $1,500 per employee. Below are the links to the treasury website to help understand the stimulus in further detail. However, some of the key points are: Business turnover must have fallen by 30% for entities with turnover under $1b...illion. Employee’s must have been employed/registered on or before the 1st March 2020 There is a flat rate payment of $1,500 (before tax) per employee, per fortnight for full time, part-time, sole traders and casual (if been with employer over 12 months) for a 6 month period. Employer’s need to register via the ATO website and nominate their employees they wish to apply the Jobs Keeper payment for. Eligible employers who have stood down their employees before the commencement of this scheme will be able to participate. The purpose of this measure is to keep employee's employed so work can resume as normal once the pandemic has passed (even if you have closed your business you can still pay an employee a wage via Job Keeper). 20.01.2022 Welcome to the new financial year As you all know you can now lodge your 2018 tax return if you have received your payment summary. Please note if you have not received your payment summary yet, then your employer has until the 14th July 2018 to issue this. Please contact our office if you have any queries or need any assistance with your tax.

17.01.2022 All the staff went out for a night of fun and painting at Paint The Town Red Art Parties last night. We all went in very nervous about the results but came out very impressed with our masterpieces. There were lots of laughs and entertainment along the way. Highly recommend for a great evening out.

Ang is one of our senior accountants and assists both Donald & Trevor in accounting services. Ang has 9 years of accounting experience and always thrives to achieve her goals set within the firm.... She works for both Daniel and Donald and is currently completing her accounting degree as well as being a certified Xero advisor.... Her hobbies include travelling and socialising with friends often with a wine in hand . Larissa is about to embark on her big adventure to Europe. We will miss her and can’t wait for her to be back in 6 weeks.
