Exercise Physiologists are degree qualified Allied Health Professionals and work with our patients to improve health through exercise. But no, we are not personal trainers. ... We are qualified to work with patients needing support with exercise and day to day function often because of additional physical or mental factors. Some cases we often work with include: - Patients with disability (I.e. neurological disability, cerebral palsy) - Elderly (Fall prevention & improving day to day function) - Diabetes - Cardiovascular (Heart) & Pulmonary (Lung) disease - Musculoskeletal disease (arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic pain. Injuries) - Mental health patients - Pregnant women or women who are wanting to lose weight to improve fertility - Patients requiring strength and function improvement pre- and / or post-surgery

Working with Lachie's condition, we started small, worked out what Lachie likes and doesn't like and have gradually built up to a place where he is loving the gym work and getting fitter every week.... 14.01.2022 Making Progress! Here we have Roy, a DVA client who was looking to get his injuries and chronic pain managed. Roy started exercising with Core Health and Rehab by utilizing the fully funded DVA program available to all ex-serviceman and women who carry a white or gold card. Starting small we have gradually progressed over time using specific exercises targeting areas of weakness and imbalance.... Fast forward to now, Roy is moving better, feeling stronger and more confident in his physical abilities. Not only helping him with daily activities but also in the gym. Benefits: -increases flexibility and range of motion -improves blood flow -pain management -improves posture -improves performance and a great stress reliever Who cant do it: Anyone!
