22.01.2022 First week of Jan...almost over! This time last month you promised to take care of your health in 2021...well have you? How are you setting the tone for your health this year?... Here’s how you can start your 2021 with intent....



22.01.2022 STOP OVERCOMPLICATING IT. AND START DOING! When it comes to mindset, I hear a lot of people afraid to start. What if I can’t have my social life? ... What if I I don’t know what I’m doing What if people judge me and I look silly Or they might find reason not to start Maybe I’ll wait ’til I get a bit fitter I’ll wait til I can afford it This means your internal dialogue is not aligned with your purpose.you want to get fit, but before you even start, you are already setting yourself up for failure. It’s a cost you’ve already made.is that a cost you can afford? Let me ask you this Why would you want to wait to feel amazing? Don’t you want to feel amazing now? Don’t you want to feel confident in your body now? Don’t you want to be the best mom or dad to your kids and be a role model for themnow! Don’t you want to have an a abundance of energy now so you don’t wake up feeling lethargic? And if not now..when are you ready for that change You don’t have to wait for anyone else to give you permission to start, you have to accept it’s on you! It’s your choice, no one’s going to care if you’re looking messed up sweaty and huffing and puffing. But I know YOU care when you feel energised when you wake up in the morning YOU care when you can reach down to tie your shoelaces and it just feels a bit easierwithout the back ache YOU care when your kids are happy ‘cos their mom or dad can have time and energy to run around with them YOU care when your spouse tells you how confident and beautiful you look.right? Let’s be realistic. You don’t have to wait anymore. Stop giving yourself reasons not to feel amazing Go and work towards that goal that you’ve always wanted to achieve The more you’re waiting on things to be better, to be perfect, the more it stacks up and it just creates more self doubts and fears Because your doubts are creating mountains. These mountains are stopping you from progressing. And the only thing that can move them are your ACTIONS!! So stop overthinking it, just start DOING! You CAN achieve anything 100%. You are an incredible human! Don’t wait for the perfect thing to happen, don’t wait for that perfect day. The perfect day is when you take action and be persistent. It’s easier to focus on things we cannot do, that’s how our brain is wired.but instead..... FOCUS on the things you CAN do. Don’t make it hard Be patient Be diligent and don’t give up because finding your happy place in your health and fitness takes time. All these fit people you see around you, they’re just normal individuals who've just built better habits. As you get into the better habits, not long after, something magical happens. Your confidence improves and fear becomes less and less a part of you. So, if you’re struggling or have this fear to start, DM me. Glute muscles can have a major impact on the overall strength of your body; your glutes support your core, help to support a range of exercises and compound movements, as well as help avoid muscle imbalances which can lead to decreased muscle mobility. Strong glutes also help to support the lower back during lifting motions, and prevent knee injuries during lifting and running exercises.... If that's not enough, strong glutes and hamstrings can help improve posture, help with lower back and hip and knee pain. The one tip we give the runners in our gym is: work on your glutes and hamstrings. Here's how. 1. Lie on your back with your knees bent. 2. Lift up from your hips. 3. Squeeze your glutes. 4. Don't let your hips drop to the side. 5. Don't overextend that lower back. Do 10 reps. Do them daily. You'll thank us for it.
