17.01.2022 A new handrail and balustrade and 2 new gates constructed for Brenton and Kim, all cuts have been pre primed for protection from the weather and all screw holes have been filled to make it as easy as possible for the clients to paint. This is the 3rd job I have done for Brenton and Kim its great to come back and work for such nice people and its also great because you know they must be happy with your work.

17.01.2022 Just finished this 40m2 merbau deck with privacy screens in Sutherland. When I first ripped up the old existing treated pine decking boards it looked like a dogs breakfast! The main bearer that the joist were butting into and hanging off was completely rotted out so were heaps of other parts of the deck. Whoever built this years ago also used 70 x 35 on flat as joist so you could say the deck was like a trampoline! Not anymore though!

05.01.2022 Update on the Dapto 2 bedroom granny flat. This morning we finished straightening all our frames and bracing them all off, so we were ready for the roofing timber to turn up after lunch. We put in a 8.6m 300mm x 63mm lvl for our ridge beam, we used this because we have quite a big span over our living area to keep it open plan! We used 150mm x 45mm hyspan lvls for our roof rafters because we are having raked ceilings inside. The highest part of our ceiling is about 3.6m to make our living spaces feel as big as possible. We cut all our rafters on the ground and managed to get them all nailed up in the afternoon! #cdc #coreydunlopconstructions #grannyflat #dapto
