25.01.2022 A great evening to dial in a third unit.

24.01.2022 Worked for Matt Chalmers this week who while I was working hard, he was out playing with his drone and practising his comedy skills. This is what he posted on fb: I had to be quick Drew, but I managed to get a rare photo of you doing some work. Surprising how much dirt you can shift in a 4 hr day My reply was: that's right. Some people take 12 hours to do the same amount of work!!

19.01.2022 Getting chewed up by yesterday’s dust storm!!

13.01.2022 Check it out fellas!!! Had a fun day yesterday testing the brand new dual laser and gps control system for MCE Lasers. Due to our trees and rolling hills around here I had always been a sceptic and got them to test on a job that was on the edge of the mallee and heaps of trees. Because of the setup we had the gps controlling the height and could run the laser at the same time to have it monitor for accuracy (all on the same panel). I had to eat my words......it was a huge suc...cess both for stability and drift. I dont know all the ins and outs of the stuff but they basically have a bunch of new technology running and an extremely simple interface. Their goal at this stage is to try to mirror its operating to that of the laser so that those of us that struggled playing mario cart can run it. I really do take my hat off to these fellas and couldn't help but share in their excitement as finally after pouring everything they have into developing something like to finally see it in field and working well. I feel pretty lucky to be able to help out in a small way with this great little Aussie designed, built and supported product that will take us another step in making us dusty blokes better and more efficient at what we do. Well done Daniel Ramondetta Check out the pic of the engineers in their office for the day. Sitting in the middle of a hot dusty paddock made me laugh a bit. See more

12.01.2022 Theres a Leopard on the prowl and we got the chance to get it angry today. Gino D'Angelo and the boys at JNR Engineering have asked us to test their new 14 foot Light Ejector grader that will be available for both the Australian and by the looks of it the American market as well. Its full of heaps of great features, some tried and true and some completely new designs to improve their product including a completely new design of the transverse leveller and front pull to improve approach angle. Today we got it couple up to the new 9470R from Haeuslers in Echuca and right from the first load its proving to be an absolute gem. No problems loading in 9-10 gear (between 8-10kms and hour) and getting a full load up to the bars in under 10 seconds.

06.01.2022 Busy and long days around here at the moment. We have just finished digging a 1.4km lateral irrigator trench and came in well under budget which was nice considering the sub soil moisture levels (great signs for the cropping boys and girls this year) In these images we are digging a dam for stock and domestic uses and also creating a "safe zone" for stock in flood prone country. Great idea i think. As you can see, sometimes the gear has to tolerate some harsh conditions.... Luckily the boys at MCE lasers supply us with a great Australian made product and service that means we are hardly ever stopped when the pressure is on and if so.....its never for long!! The team at MCE not only build a good product but are constantly pushing themselves to improve it and as a result they supply to us the strongest laser on the market......the longest range remote to change inputs.....and a control systems that runs as slick as while being easy to use!! 05.01.2022 Matt Chalmers took a little drone footage of me working with the one tractor at their place recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtY5_QyJwBs

03.01.2022 A big thanks to Jerry Bernado for the logo. That's right.....of crusty demon fame. He's also brilliant at logo design stuff. Catch up with him and let him have a go at a cracking design for your business.

03.01.2022 Using MCE's GNSS/LASER control panel to run their business partners (MOBA) 3D panel allowing us to upload and work to a terrain file (design) for the customers requirements!!
