25.01.2022 PREMIERS READING CHALLENGE 2020 I am very pleased to announce that these fabulous Stage 2 and 3 students have completed this years Challenge by reading 20 books independently. Year 3 Oden, Sophia, Lucas, Matilda, Bethany, Heidy, Maisie and Zahli. Year 4 Terrell, Amelia, Taj, Addison, Charlotte, Tasmin, Thea L, Tayla Tamsyn, Tom and Keyshia. 25.01.2022 Week 8 is Eat A Rainbow Challenge! Offering a wide range of colours in childrens food not only looks great but also ensures that children are receiving a great variety of nutrients. Make it fun by eating a rainbow! Challenge your children to eat as many different coloured fresh foods as possible. During Crunch n Sip in Week 8, each class will be participating in the challenge to eat a rainbow. Each coloured fruit or vegetable will be tallied to create a rainbow at the ...end of the week. Woolworths Woolgoolga have kindly donated a box of fruit and vegetables for each successful class! So challenge yourself! Eat A Rainbow! 23.01.2022 We welcome to our school all the Year 6 students going into year 7 2021 for their orientation day tomorrow.

23.01.2022 Stage 2 Camp - CASCADE Monday Nov 23 Due to an itinerary change at Cascade the bus pick up time has been changed to an earlier time of 8am. Please be at school ready to leave by 7.45am. Sorry for any inconvenience. Don't forget morning tea, lunch and a water bottle for the first day. Also, any medication that is required must be clearly labelled with name and dose and given to the teacher on arrival.

23.01.2022 This week saw Stage 3 dig the Field Mine where two of the largest nuggets were discovered. The notorious bushranger Ned Kelly made an appearance and stole 2 camps hard earned gold. Give us all your gold!!

21.01.2022 In science this week 3/4P researched and designed their own Egg Drop Carrier. The students were enthusiastic about the experiment and were eager to see whether their eggs lived or died after being dropped from the balcony.

20.01.2022 Stage 1 Geography Excursion Years 1 and 2 participated in an excursion which included a Bush Tucker Walk and Aboriginal Storytelling. Thank you to Mr Skinner and Aunty Ange for your knowledge and assistance on the day.

13.01.2022 GOLD RUSH Stage 3 had their rewards day today. They dressed as people from the gold rush era, cooked damper on sticks in the fire, played gold trivia and mined the choc chips out of cookies. Well done to the golden group who collected an impressive 2.6kg of gold over the term.

05.01.2022 Stage 2 Cascade Camp Stage 2 had a great time at Cascade last week. Activities included dip netting (catching insects in the creek) and looking at them under the microscope, bushwalking with investigative discovery, low ropes, a historical walk around Cascade, archaeology and handling reptiles!

05.01.2022 3/4P conducted the Rainbow Water Walking experiment today. Students were excited to see the paper towel absorb the coloured water and see it travel. Students will review tomorrow what happens overnight.

04.01.2022 DAY ONE! Today the kids had a great time challenging their comfort zone with the power fan. They also had to work as a team to build a raft and race across the lake. Day one

02.01.2022 Stage 3 Day 2 Yesterday we completed the high ropes course, giant swing, mud run, flying fox and archery! What a big day!! We are expected to arrived between 3-3.30pm this afternoon and will update facebook when coming through Coffs Harbour. See you all this afternoon

02.01.2022 A new date has been set for the Athletics Carnival. It will be Thursday this week (17/9/20). Students are allowed to wear their house colours. Sharks - Blue Eels - Yellow Dolphins - Red... Please remember to make sure your child has a school hat and a water bottle for the day. As per Department of Education Guidelines, this event will be strictly students only.
