21.01.2022 To help slow the spread of coronavirus, we recommend you cancel planned boating activities this weekend. Recreational boating is a non-essential activity. The ...advice to Victorians is clear: if you can stay home, you must stay home. Your exposure to others while refuelling, buying bait or being rescued in the event of an incident may contribute to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). This is tough. But each of us are being asked to make sacrifices to save lives. Take care everyone. 14.01.2022 Well members it looks as though the season has come to a abrupt finish. Obviously with the Caronavirus crisis the biggest concern is for the health and well being of our families and communities. The Corinella Boating and Angling club have sadly had to cancel all competitions and social events as with the requirements from authorities and will remain until authorities remove all restrictions and the deadly covid-19 is eradicated. Stay safe and healthy so that we see you all ...when things return to normal. Don't forget the raffle is still running for the Lone Star anchor and bow sprit check our website for details Thankyou for your support See more

The mark was off Tortoise head in 3 - 4 meters and sure enough the whiting were there we finished with our bag limit, so after a beautiful steak lunch ( provided by the werewolf... because he only comes out on a full moon) we tried for a snapper with no luck but we will be trying more of the marks off the GPS See more

04.01.2022 The Corinella fishing club snapper competition starts next Friday the 30th October, we encourage all members to get out on the water and participate. The compet...ition runs for 10 days finishing Sunday the 8th 12:00pm so plenty of time to chase a big red. We will be having our first BBQ / presentation Sunday 8th 12:00pm now that restrictions have eased, of course all covid rules must be adhered to. Metro members that are not allowed to leave their area can still compete and register your catch by sending through photos of your snapper on the scales. Last years trophies will be handed out at the BBQ now that restrictions allow small gatherings. Even if you can't get out on the water it is great opportunity to come along to the BBQ and catch up for chat. Any queries or to let us know you are coming just message us. See more
