24.01.2022 This week marks 7 weeks to go at cork wine cafe. As we found out that james Erskine of jauma wines was putting together a special blend for the end of our little era we were reminded of the generosity and warmth we have felt over the years. We thank all of you for making unbelievable wines of purity, identity and uniqueness. Our hats are very much tipped in your direction, without you, we would have been just a room. x

24.01.2022 9 weeks to get down to cork for a glass. See you soon.

14.01.2022 As we continue to drift towards the final weeks of cork we remember the nights and times that made it so special for us. This was taken at the launch of the winter red blend by natural selection theory, a collaboration between @jaumawines @tomshobbrook #lucymargaux & the late Sam Hughes, who will forever remain in our thoughts. We spit roasted a lamb out the back and the people flowed through the door to experience, what for us was a truly unique & memorable day. #corkwinecafe #memories #natural #wine

06.01.2022 To friends and guests, Our lease at Cork Wine Cafe is coming to an end, and as you may be aware, our time is becoming more and more stretched. So, with a sad heart, we have decided to focus on our imports, online store and planting some vines of our own to continue our growing wine production in the next couple of years. It's been an awesome seven years, but we will be closing Cork Wine Cafe’s doors on November 14th to move on to the next stage of our wine journey. We send o...ut this post with mixed emotions, a heavy heart, and a terrible sadness of saying goodbye to something that we have given so much time and love to. These are also exciting times, but it doesn't mean that we are not writing this with our eyes welling up with tears. Cork has been a brilliant journey for us. We will never forget it and will look back on our seven years with so many fond memories. We would like to say thank you to all of our awesome friends and guests, it has been a privilege to go on your wine journeys with you. It has been an honour to drink with you, laugh with you and help you find a love for something you might not have known. We cannot forget the producers and importers, who without their passion and skill, there would be no small producer delicious wines to drink. These people have become our friends, our wine family and our heroes. We will be forever grateful to Cork for allowing us to express our passion for wine, and to help us to grow and expand. From our little bar on Gouger Street we have been able to start an import business, an online store, which can continue to supply you with the wines you have come to love, and for Travis to produce wines that will carry our passion and love for quality wines out into the world. None of this would have been possible without Cork Wine Cafe, or without you, our brilliant customers. There are ten weeks to go, and in this time we will be changing up our wine list, putting on new and exciting wines, and bringing back fabulous old favourites. We would love to see you all to say goodbye and thank you! With much love, Michelle and Travis

05.01.2022 With six weeks to go @corkwinecafe we have been speaking about of all of the places people like to sit. It has been funny to see people to gravitate to certain parts of the bar. The bar stools are a favourite, but the couch has had a few first dates, some that have turned into marriages, and of course the window seats. The wing backed chair at the from of the bar is one of our favourites and a perfect spot to sit with a wine and let the world drift by. See you soon for a glass.

01.01.2022 Thanks to the adelaide review for writing nice things about us and what we are up to next.
