18.01.2022 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST You may have seen Jody’s recent post that she is taking a step back from her role as Event Director. Jody has worked tirelessly with her team over the past 2 years and I thank her for her dedication to the role. We will miss you Jody. Cormorant Bay is a great parkrun and when parkrun recommences in Australia, we want to come back with a vengeance. It is almost going to be like a relaunch for CB.... I am seeking Expressions of Interest from persons within the parkrun/running community, who might be interested in stepping into the role or even into a Co-ED role with another person. You don’t even have to be a runner to hold this position. As your Event Ambassador, I will give you as much or as little training as you need, but will always be available to support when needed. I would also like to hear from other interested persons who would consider volunteering at the event each week. Let’s not lose this event! It’s been a horrible year and we have lost so much already. 03.01.2022 Hey parkrunners! We are excited to be back running, walking and volunteering at Cormorant Bay on the 28th of November. We are still seeking expressions of interests for the role of Event Director. We are also after a handful of Run Directors to deliver the event on a rotational basis. No experience is necessary apart from a passion for Cormorant Bay parkrun. As your Event Ambassador I will provide you with as little or as much training as you require and will be available fo...r support whenever needed.
