18.01.2022 The CLACKS A couple of our favourite Junior Athletes. A couple of mad swimmers with Lara managing to qualify for a few National races this year. ... It’s been tough with competitions these kids have been working towards for a year just disappear, but they have been crushing it in the gym while there’s been limited opportunities for swimming (when they aren’t talking, laughing and causing havoc for the coaches ). It’s one thing coaching good athletes, but even more important is coaching good kids. These two definitely fit that criteria. Well done to Jane and Paul. They’re a handful, but great girls.

14.01.2022 When you’re 15 and RDL 80kg like you’re just picking something up off the ground.. And then run a sub 19min 5km.

09.01.2022 ATHLETES & PARENTS OF NEWCASTLE The questions we get all the time are: How do I get stronger? How do I get faster?... What do I need to eat and when? What's the best ways to recover? So we're offering the opportunity to drop the kids off during school holidays and not just get told, but shown INDIVIDUALLY how they can go about improving their athleticism across all aspects. We've spent tens of thousands of dollars, coached thousands of hours, been mentored by some of the most elite coaches in the industry and worked with a bunch of top-level talent. We know what works. This is world-class information and training. And we want to share that with you. This 2-day workshop is applicable to any type of field or court sports (soccer, league, rugby, hockey, netball, basketball, tennis etc) as we'll be going through movements suitable to each athletes' sport. We'll be covering: How to build strength and key areas to focus on Sports specific speed, agility, running technique and explosiveness Sports specific conditioning and work capacity Balance, coordination and body awareness Injury prevention and return from injury How to recover for peak performance Nutrition for health & performance for growing bodies The work and mindset required to reach the highest level We only have 20 places available. The workshop will run over 2-days. When: Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July Time: 9am - 3pm with a lunch break so they must bring their own food. (you can drop off/stay a little later if needed) Cost: $89 Call, email or send us a direct message to reserve your place. 0401 062 010 [email protected]

02.01.2022 Once you nail the basics, you can start to explore potential. Working through power, stiffness and stability. Its one thing for any coach to set up this drill and get their athletes to complete it. It’s another to understand the nuances and details about why, what to focus on and how to improve it. ... @josie.morley
