You may notice a few changes: -We will ask you regarding your current health condition prior to arrival to ensure you are not at risk. -We will ask you to use hand sanitiser and a pre-procedural mouthrinse... -We stagger our appointments to reduce waiting room traffic. - Senior patients are offered priority early morning appointments. -We are cleaning and disinfecting general surfaces that people touch with their hands more frequently and our frontline employees have received updated training to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. Surfaces such as door knobs, chairs, eftpos machines, reception desk, even pens are wiped over with disinfectant between visits. -Staff may wear faceshields- we apologise if our 'cone of silence' makes it hard to hear us, so will will do our best to speak up during treatment. 19.01.2022 The way you brush is very important! Angle your toothbrush towards your gum line. Take your time, moving the toothbrush in gentle, circular motions to remove plaque. Repeat on the inside and biting surfaces. Unremoved plaque can harden, leading to calculus buildup and gingivitis (early gum disease).

Routine dental care such as cleaning plays a important part in your general health and wellbeing. The government has acknowledged that with the reduction of COVID-19 cases in the community, our practice can return to 'business as normal', including use of dental tools that produce water.... There will be minor things to ensure we remain vigilant we continue keeping our team and patients safe. These are: -Continued screening of patients before appointments to ensure you do not attend if unwell. -Removal of magazines, books and childrens toys from waiting rooms. -Social distancing in the waiting room and other non-clinical areas. Still, many of us continue to neglect brushing our teeth at night before sleeping. Brushing before bed gets rid of the germs and plaque that accumulate throughout the day.
