25.01.2022 The WALLUMBILLA School has contacted David Bowden to arrange a Remembrance Day Service on the 11th November at the WALLUMBILLA War Memorial in conjunction with the Corona Freemason Lodge. There will be more involvement this year because the Yuleba School Students will be involved too. Would all Freemasons who are available please contact David Bowden on 0429664275 so we can arrange readers etc for the Service? 22.01.2022 Well Corona Lodge went close to creating history on Saturday 21st of March. Corona was going to be the last official event by Grand Lodge of Brisbane before suspending duties due to the Coronavirus....it all sounded good for a while. However the new directive of so many square metres per person in an enclosed area led to an Executive decision not to proceed. Would you please advise all those who may have been coming?

21.01.2022 It is official........A lady from Origin phoned today to say that Corona Lodge was successful in receiving a $3,000 grant towards building a new front fence for the recently painted Corona Lodge Building in Hill Street Wallumbilla.

20.01.2022 Three excited Corona Lodge Membrts hsving breakfact on what will be a historic day for Corona Lodge. Kim Ruru will be installed as the Assistant Grand Master for Queensland Freemasons. Bill Albevk and David Bowden will be Regalia Bearers. There are only 100 allowed at the Installation and the ceremony will be professionally videos. This will be the 99th Anniversary Installation. Seems hard to believe that Wallumbilla will be so well represented.

19.01.2022 Corona Lodge Members have been advised that Kim Ruru, the current Assistant Grand Master Designate will be designated as the Assistant Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of Queensland afterJuly 25th 2020 in Brisbane. This is the third highest position in Queensland ........not bad for a bloke from the Bush! Also Bill Albeck and David Bowden From Corona Lodge have been asked to be Regalia Bearers. That will be something new for these ole critters!

14.01.2022 Well it’s official. The ticket for the Grand Installation in Brisbane arrived today for next Saturday. So there will be three proud Corona Members among only 100 invited to see Kim Ruru installed as Assistant Grand Master due to the COVID 19 Restrictions. Am sure that Western Queensland would have been out in force in normal times.

13.01.2022 Corona have been nominated for an Australian Day Award with the Wallumbilla School for the 2019 Remembrance Day Service at Yuleba this Sunday. All are welcome to attend to se the outcome.

12.01.2022 The first training session for the Corona Lodge Members Regalia Bearers took place in Wallumbilla on Sunday. Going to take a while for them to get it right......they are also aware that if they fall over it will all be on video!

09.01.2022 David Knowles and David Bowden represented Corona Lodge 318 of Wallumbilla at the Freemason Zoom Meeting hosted by John Lethbridge from his Muckadilla property. Injune Lodge - Jason Humphrey’s. Interesting Meeting hearing how different Members are coping with the Coronavirus Lockdown. Those on ...properties are boing normal, some are being careful to follow the wishes of their wives, some are acting as security for their Lodges, some have had their work situation change and looking to do different hobbies to learn something new. 08.01.2022 Congratulations to Corona Stalwart Michael Maloney who has received aCommunity Award with others for all his hard work with Meals on Wheels. Well done Michael. Michael also does other work for the Communities of Roma and Wallumbilla.

06.01.2022 Secretary of Corona Lodge Col Vaughan advises that there will be a Get Together Morning Tea at the Roma Bowls Club this Saturday 7th November at 10am for all Freemasons in the Maranoa Area. Understand there may be a special presentation to a long standing Member. You will be most welcome.

06.01.2022 The second practice for the Regalia Bearers for the Grand Lodge Installation later in July went well with the Corona Members mastering a ceremonial turn......without falling over!

04.01.2022 Our Treasurer has ordered the new front fence for the Corona Lodge at Wallumbilla. Will need a working bee soon to erect. Future catering with new Wallumbilla Freemason aprons will let the public know we are active in the Community.

02.01.2022 Assistant Grand Master Kim Ruru presents a Board of Benevolence Jewal to Brian Reardon from Raphael Lodge with the assistance of Assistant Director of Developement Bill Vierveyzer. A very surprised Brian walked into the Rustic Crust Restaurant at the Roma Bowls Club to find members of his family , two former Mayors and Roma Lions Club Members waiting. It's great when a surprise really works!
