25.01.2022 ***Notice to Members regarding Border Closure*** With the release of the latest advice on travel restrictions, the Club will no longer be able to allow Victoria...n members, guests or visitors to play golf or socialise at the Club. From midnight on Tuesday 21 July, the border zone will restrict entry of Victorians into NSW to "extremely limited purposes", NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said. "Essentially, unless youre travelling across the border in the border zone for education, health or employment, you shouldnt be going." "The daily matters where people were able to cross back and forth will no longer be possible you cant just pop across to do your shopping, it has to be now for the three designated reasons." Please, if you reside in Victoria, do not book to play golf during these restrictions. If you do book, the Pro Shop team will remove your booking from the system. We will keep everyone updated as more information comes to light and we look forward to the day we can welcome all Victorians back into our Club.

17.01.2022 COROWA GOLF UPDATE From Friday until further notice all COMPETITIONS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. Taking on the Government Advice and Recommendations from Golf NSW we feel this is the appropriate approach going forward. All Bookings for this SATURDAY HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. Also on the advice of the Government and Golf NSW we will still be allowing Social Golf. Restrictions on Social play include a maximum of THREE players per group, 10 minute Tee intervals and ONE person per cart. All ...participants are asked to ADHERE TO THE SOCIAL DISTANCING REGULATIONS. We are hoping to provide people an option for some outdoor recreation as long as regulations allow it and individuals respect and practice all Government Advice. Look out for each other & stay safe

We politely ask all to follow these guidelines and take personal responsibility to ensure we meet the obligations of the Public Health (COVID-19 Border Control) Amendment Order 2020. 16.01.2022 Saturday 4 Jan 20 - Stableford Event Due to the expected conditions tomorrow with Heat (42 degs at 11am), Wind and more importantly the very poor Air Quality, i...t has been decided to cancel tomorrows Stableford event for the health of our members and visitors.. Not withstanding this, the golf course will still be open for social golf for those who wish. All golfers are to be mindful of the clubs heat policy to ensure that you stay hydrated, (drink lots of WATER). Sunday looks like a great day for golf, put your name down for the Sunday Medley Comp. 14.01.2022 COROWA GOLF UPDATE From Saturday 16th May we will be allowing Golf to be played in Groups of 4. Hooray!!! Everyone that had a booking on Saturday will need to check their times as many have been slightly adjusted. Those booked in after 1pm for 18 holes should consider finding available space earlier to ensure finishing before dark. Please note that all of the following points still apply until further notice. * Everyone to maintain Social Distancing (at least 1.5m) at all tim...es. * There is to be no hanging around the clubhouse / carpark areas before or after Golf. Arrive on time, enjoy your game, head straight home. * From Sunday 17th May the course will be accessible for Green Fee play. * For all Golf, advance bookings are essential. No Walk Ups under any circumstances. * No Sharing of any equipment including Golf Carts (only exception is for direct Family Members from the same household). * Medley Stableford Comps are on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The club will be announcing a new date w...ithin the next couple of days and it is envisaged to be sometime in the next couple of months. When the new date is announced, the club will carry over all entries to that date AND should the new date be unsuitable for anyone the club will organise a refund. 12.01.2022 Saturdays Monthly Medal Competition Due to the weather forecast for this Saturday, it has been decided to defer the January Monthly Medal to Saturday the 18th o...f January. We are currently expecting temperatures in the mid forties with the temperature at 11am expected to be around 41c. Golfers are still able to play in a single Stableford competition taking in to account our heat policy. A further assessment will be made later in the week and if the forecast is still for very high to extreme temps then a decision will be made to play or cancel the Stableford event. Any inconvenience to our golfers is regretted Stay hydrated and play well

10.01.2022 Totally Heart Breaking to see this! With a perfectly good Golf Course only a couple of Kilometres away these Guys have mowed a US Open wide Fairway in a paddock to get their Golf Fix. All because we have a River running through the middle of our Community Although it shows great initiative it just isnt logical. Considering these Guys are already accurate strikers these practice conditions will make them scary straight Shame it wont help their putting

10.01.2022 COROWA GOLF UPDATE (4 points) 1. Whilst public outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people are allowed in NSW current advice from GOLF NSW (Monday 11th May) is that for exercise (which is where golf fits) is still in a maximum of 2. We will update this if the advice changes. 2. With both NSW and Vic not placing a restriction on travel for essential services from Midnight Tuesday, we are excited to allow Country Members access to the course from Wednesday. This will allow all Golfin...g Members access 7 days a week. Bookings are essential and are available from 8am 7 days in advance through the Member Portal or by calling the Pro Shop. At this stage golf access is not available for public Green Fee Play. 3. Our first week of competitions was a great success. We will continue to run a Medley Stableford Comp every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. These comps will be processed for results on the day following play and prizes / balls can be collected from the Pro Shop during opening times. 4. A huge thanks to all of our members for following the strict regulations of play. We understand how difficult it can be but we all must remain vigilant so that we can continue to enjoy the opportunity to play. See more

08.01.2022 Corowa Golf Update We are keeping the Golf Course OPEN until Saturday 28th March with the following adjustments. * We will run a Pro Comp on Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday with No Comp on Sunday * All Tee Times have been adjusted to 10 minute intervals. Please check the Members Portal to confirm your preexisting Tee time... * We are asking all players in Carts to observe Social Distancing recommendations and only have 1 person per cart * All Bunkers are GUR We will be listening to Government Advice and this plan could change. We will evaluate the situation next Monday for the following week. 06.01.2022 A huge thanks to all those Members who have played in the last few days and have done the right thing. It has been so satisfying to see so many of you after a few weeks away and the enjoyment on your faces being able to get out and enjoy your golf. Heading into Saturday and the following week we just wanted to provide a few updates and reminders. * The Golf Course is Open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. It is CLOSED (No Access) on Sunday, Monday and Friday *... The Practice Fairway & Greens are available 7 days a week. These areas are open for Practice only, no social gathering under any circumstance. * Golf is only available to Local Members and must be booked in advance. This can be done through the Members Portal online (contact the Pro Shop for assistance if required) and by calling the Pro Shop during Opening times. * We would encourage all Golfers to avoid arriving early for their Pre Booked Tee Time. The recommendation is to arrive within 10 minutes of your time. Consider Warming up and Stretching at home before heading to the course. * From Tuesday we will have an 18 hole course available and also a separate 9 hole course available. When booking online please check that you are booking into a timeslot for the number of holes you would like to play. This could involve scrolling down to a different section. It is imperative that all players maintain social distancing at all times and never gather around whether that be on the course, around the practice facilities or in the car park. Golf is open for exercise so arrive late, enjoy the game and then head home

05.01.2022 Hello Golfers We have implemented some Safety Procedures to better prepare for the concerns regarding COVID-19. To reduce the risk of contact we will have the following in place: * Pro Shop door permanently opened * Comp card scanner in clubhouse is OFF. All Comp cards to be returned to the box out the front of the Pro Shop.... If you feel unwell we suggest staying away otherwise the space and fresh air the golf course provides is a wonderful tonic in these times. Keep safe.

04.01.2022 Two Important Updates!! 1. The Course is CLOSED TODAY. With over 70mm of rain the course has surface water lying everywhere so stay next to the fire instead. 2. The Course will be open 7 DAYS A WEEK starting from next Tuesday . Tee times will commence from 8am and run to 3.30pm everyday. Bookings can be made 7 days in advance either through the Members portal or by ringing the Pro Shop. At this stage the course is still only available for local members with no public access allowed.

03.01.2022 Dear Members On behalf of the entire Board of Directors and Management staff of the Corowa Golf Club, I would like to thank and congratulate you all for your co...-operation and understanding during these un-precedented times. Our adherence to government requirements has played a part in fighting the spread of the virus. This has given us the confidence to take initial steps to re-opening our course within the legislation and recommendations from government and industry bodies. It is therefore with great pleasure and excitement that I announce that the Corowa Golf Club Course will re-open this Tuesday, 21st April. At this point the course will be open for Members social play only on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. The course will remain closed Monday, Friday and Sunday. The Pro shop will be open 8am to 3pm on the days when the course is open. Access to the locker rooms and Cart storage area will also be available during opening times. The clubhouse and facilities will remain closed. To ensure the Corowa Golf club adheres to Covid-19 government and industry recommendations and requirements the following measures will be implemented. Members are required to pre-book their tee times prior to arrival at the golf course. This can be done using the on-line booking system or calling the pro-shop during opening hours. Strictly no golfers will be allowed without a prior booking. Booking sheets will be open from Sunday 19th April at 4pm. Tee sheets will be available 4 days in advance. At this point in time the course will only be open to members who reside locally. It will not be available for our country members or visitors. We will be reviewing this restriction on a regular basis. No sharing of golf carts. Minimum 10-minute intervals between tee times Play in groups of 2 only and the use of one starting tee only will be implemented. Members to adhere to the 4 square metre distancing rules as a minimum No competitions initially. This will be reviewed and assessed pending members co-operation with all of the opening guidelines Members must ensure contact with golf-related infrastructure is minimised Flag sticks are to remain in place, hole depth has been reduced and bunkers are GUR Members must ensure personal hygiene standards are maintained at the highest level Members must not attend the golf club if you feel ill, or have been in contact with someone who is Members must adhere to social distancing and isolation requirements and must not gather socially prior to playing, or after completion of play. Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands Dont shake hands Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth because your hands touch many different surfaces and can easily pick up viruses Pro Shop staff, members of the Board and Club Management staff will be monitoring the compliance of these rules.
