22.01.2022 How’s your day going? Shani, Paul and I are in Brisbane for a couple of days at the NESA #chatfest aka National Conference. There are a lot of mini cakes here what’s a girl to do.

22.01.2022 You probably knew this already, but just in case .... Indigenous businesses are times more likely to employ Indigenous people than non-Indigenous businesses. Sooooo it makes sense to include Indigenous businesses in your supply chain no matter how big or how small it is. Employment is critical to the health and prosperity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It offers social and economic benefits that flow to individuals, families, communities and the economy as a whole (Closing the Gap 2019 report). If you want to find a business that supplies something you need, hit us up and we’ll find one together. #IndigenousTradeFair This was us today at the Supply Nation / National Indigenous Australians Agency Trade Fair in Brisbane.

20.01.2022 It’s fun doing business in the House!

18.01.2022 I don’t normally get to hang out with our amazing trainers in their PD space so this Lifeline DV-Alert trainers forum has been an incredible experience in many many ways. Thanks Tracey and Marc for taking me on this journey.

16.01.2022 Talking Indigenous Business at the Supply Nation / NIAA Indigenous Business Trade Fair in Brisbane today.

15.01.2022 Hi to all our Indigenous Business peers. Have a great day everyone. Come and say 'hi'

15.01.2022 This is the most incredible leadership experience you’ll ever have. Exploring your leadership style, enhancing your skills and understanding how you react in challenges and how you relate to different personalities all whilst roaming Australia’s incredible natural environment and sacred country. We highly recommend this program.

14.01.2022 It’s on! The annual Supply Nation Indigenous business Trade Fair, Parliament House, CANBERRA. Drinking lots of tea to loosen the vocal chords ... it’s a talk fest!

12.01.2022 Tip no. 1 for any networking/marketing event: don’t forget your business cards . Today I’m Paul and Shani.

12.01.2022 Another year at Supply Nation for the Corporate Culcha team. We love it! So much to talk about. Guess what! We’re passionate about Indigenous business ..... not just ours. This train is well and truly rolling. Get on board!

12.01.2022 Feeling the love at the UnitingCare Innovation showcase.

10.01.2022 For those fans of The House with Annabelle Crabb, look who I ran into at the Supply Nation event in Canberra today. Absolutely loved this fabulous lady's contribution to the show. I was a bit star-struck to tell you the truth.

09.01.2022 NAIDOC week :) This year's theme is "Voice . Treaty . Truth . Let's work together." Search up naidoc.org.au for events near you celebrating culture. It's been a fantastic start so far. Who caught the NAIDOC awards on Saturday night?

07.01.2022 We’re in the studio today with the team recording an eLearning narration. We’ve co-designed a cultural heritage eLearning program for our client’s field technicians to understand what is cultural heritage, what to do when they discover a cultural heritage item, and most importantly how to work with Traditional Owners in protecting cultural heritage. Maybe we’ll cut a record while we’re here . Anyone got a guitar?

05.01.2022 It’s serious stuff here .... and hard work spruking the businesses.

04.01.2022 Team building with our great facilitators of Mental Health First Aid. We are embarking on our 2nd contract with NESA to deliver these great workshops to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities during 2018 and 2019. Oh, and we didn't just pose for photos all day ... but we did fly paper aeroplanes and managed to fit in a little yoga as well.

04.01.2022 Well, that was fantastic. Thanks to the ladies of Wisdom Embracing Youth Embracing Wisdom for an absolutely wonderful lunch with two generations of woman working together for success, not just in business but in Community development and spirit. As a result of the work of this charitable Organisation, the Synergy Group, a Murwillumbah organisation that provides meaningful, commercially sustainable employment for people with disabilities, was presented with this BIG cheque which quickly grew in size from $5k to $8.5k AND we were treated to stand-up by Mandy Nolan. Thank you.

03.01.2022 We more than satisfied our sweet cravings yesterday with one of these fabulously designed cakes from Sugarface - Mahlee, you’re amazing.

03.01.2022 Here we go again. We love the opportunity to talk to people about Indigenous Business and the benefits of getting on board. In Brisbane today at the Supply Nation event.

02.01.2022 Can we have some now, we’re exhausted.

01.01.2022 The hardest things to say are the most important things to say .... it may sound like just another cliche, but just sit with it for a while. When the lads from Tweed Coast Raiders Charity Cup (Jared and Mike) told us about the great response to the recent Mental Health First Aid workshop they rolled out in our local community, we put our hands up straight away to sponsor the delivery of Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid. We’re proud of our team delivering Aboriginal Ment...al Health First Aid throughout the country, in remote Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander communities, but to deliver at home, that’s something pretty special too. Thanks to everyone who supported this workshop to get up and running - Tweed Byron Suicide Prevention program, Cabarita Bowls & Sports Club and our deadly facilitators Jack de Thierry and Mark Watego. We’re just half way through the workshop so far and already the benefits of having those difficult conversations have been felt and experienced. Let’s keep the conversations about mental health flowing. Thanks team .
