23.01.2022 When Kelly does a wine run... Bless you

23.01.2022 Ahh June Promotions are upon us again and first cab off the rank...

21.01.2022 The COVID-19 crisis has absolutely reinforced the importance of agriculture for our State and our country. I want to thank our farmers, and everyone working al...ong the supply chain, for your efforts, and for continuing to supply our community with the food we need. We grow enough food in this State to feed our community many times over, and that's because of our hardworking farming communities. We have a long way to go in this crisis, but here’s an update on a few key issues. --- - Interstate Travel As people would be aware, interstate border restrictions have come into force to protect the health of our community. Under those restrictions, anyone arriving from interstate is required to self-isolate for 14 days. We have put a series of exemptions in place to support our community and our economy. People who are required to travel to WA to work in agriculture or primary industries are exempt from the self-isolation requirement, as they perform an essential service for our state. All freight movements have also been exempted which means there are no impacts on agricultural inputs or machinery imports. The exemptions also apply to transport providers, like truck drivers and there are no additional requirements in place for livestock movements, beyond usual biosecurity protocols. - Export Supply Chains - We are working with industry to keep our export supply chains open. Freight and cargo shipping is continuing. However, the widespread cancellation of passenger flights has reduced the avenues into international markets. That impacts on exports of fresh produce, lobster and some premium products. We are talking to some of our international exporters around options for air freight export bringing companies together to explore using underutilised planes to continue to supply international markets. Our priority will be supplying our local market, but we need to keep export markets open for our producers. - Processing facilities - We want to ensure our agricultural processing facilities, like abattoirs, can continue to operate throughout this time. The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is meeting with agricultural processors and Health officials today work through these business continuity issues in case a facility is impacted by COVID-19. --- Official information regarding COVID-19 in Western Australia - www.wa.gov.au/covid19.

03.01.2022 Welcome to Wheatbelt Engineering! My name is Thomas Fleay, owner/operator of Wheatbelt Engineering. I grew up in York on the family farm and attended Cunderdin... Agricultural College. My apprenticeship as a Welder and Boilermaker was undertaken with RCR Thomlinson in Welshpool, where I gained experience in structural and industrial mining fabrication. In 2018 I moved to Darwin and for the past two years I have worked for Tristar Industries, which largely involved fabrication of side tippers, water tankers and general truck body / trailers. Recently I returned to WA and I am excited to start my own business in Wagin and surrounding regional areas. Through Wheatbelt Engineering I aim to provide quality welding services in agricultural repairs and new fabrications. Please call me if you think I can be of assistance to you.
