12.01.2022 AGM coming up Sunday November at Corrimal RSL at 3pm. We need as many people as posible to attend. Please read the following statement: 10/11/2017... To all friends of Corrimal Rangers Junior Soccer club, I am writing to you all on behalf of the present committee. Corrimal has had a great season on the field but has struggled off the field in certain areas. We have continued to attain the same number of players each year but our committee numbers have decreased to their smallest in many years. At the end of this year 2017 two of our long serving members of the Committee will not be reapplying for their role but we thank them for their work. This will become problematic in a number of areas. Throughout the year we were trying to allocate teams to run the canteen at weekends on a roster basis as it has been done successfully in the past and is common at other clubs. We had some opposition to this and therefore on quite a number of occasions the canteen was closed for games. This has had a detrimental effect on the financial viability of the club as canteen revenues are used to subsidise the referee payments. It has got to the point where we have no slush fund as we have had in previous years. We need volunteers to come forward to help with field set ups, pack downs . We have our AGM coming up on Sunday the November 26th 2017 at the Corrimal RSL at 3pm. If we cannot form a committee at this time we will be in breach of the Football NSW requirements for a functioning Soccer Club. We need to establish a minimum of 6 persons to form an effective committee before February 2017. If you wish to see the Corrimal club continue you need to get involved. Without a functioning committee there will be no club. This would be catastrophic for a club who has nurtured many soccer players throughout the years. Please come to the meeting and get involved in your club. All positions will be vacant: President Vice President Treasurer Secretary/Registrar Referees Co-ordinator Committee Members Expressions of interest to [email protected] Yours sincerely The Committee Members Corrimal Rangers Junior Soccer Club

04.01.2022 Final week miniroos.....

03.01.2022 It is with deep sadness that we announce that Dawn Power, aged 79, passed away on 31 October at her home in Kiama. Since 1979, Dawn has provided consistent and valuable service at club and Association level. She had held a number of executive and committee positions with Kiama Junior Football Club where she is also a Life Member. Dawn has also served on what was known as the Illawarra Junior Football Association back in 1988 where he helped run knockouts, finals series' and g...ala days. She became the roo-ball coordinator in 2002 and was made an IFA Life Member in 2008. Without having ever played the game herself, Dawn has been a servant of football in the Illawarra for over 30 years where she thoroughly enjoyed watching junior teams play and develop. Dawn has spent a lifetime giving freely her time to the youth of the Illawarra. She is well known amongst those that have come across her and she was a highly respected member of the Illawarra Football Community. Dawn's service to football was recognised where she was honoured as a Football NSW State Award recipient in 2010. She is the mum of FSC and Junior Competition Coordinator David Ware and she will be missed by all. Forever in our thoughts - Rest in Peace Dawn.
