25.01.2022 Sunset at Corroboree

23.01.2022 What an amazing day at Corroboree yesterday! From before sunrise to after sunset fishing. Hard days fishing, spent most of the day fishing weedless type lures a...nd concentrating on the lily pads for Saratoga and Barra. I hooked up a ridiculous amount of times and either dropped or got done in the thick lily and weed growth areas. I only managed to get one fish onboard ( a bit of a gay archer fish ) Peter McWatters on the other hand caught Barra, Saratoga, tarpon and archers...proving once again that he is "Yoda". This is without a doubt one of the most amazing places I have been privileged to fish. Beautiful is an understatement! Saw at least 12 crocs. Some truly enormous. Cast a lure and landed on one which then charged towards the boat, he was not scared of us at all. Me, well... I nearly peed!!! If anyone is visiting up here, I highly recommend hiring a boat from Corroboree Boat Hire, fantastic and friendly service, good boat. See more
