10.01.2022 : Albert Einstein once said, . Looking back over the last couple of months, having overcome the trials and tribulations that came with the implementation of Single Touch Payroll and with the New Financial Year well underway, we have finally had the opportunity to reflect on this time. A busy time full of learning, not just for our Clients, but for ourselves and the ATO. ... Reflecting upon operations and tasks within a business is very important and time spent analysing this can add great value to your business. Having just experienced what was the busiest, most chaotic End of Financial Year in all my years in practice, our processes struggled under the load and cracks appeared. Knowing very well that we were not going to be able to solve every problem, address every issue or meet every deadline, we just had to soldier on and do the best we could manage under the extreme workload. But what we were able to do was to introduce checks, measures and balances and while the leaks didnt stop completely, it went a great way to minimizing them. So in effect what has come out of this Chaos, was the opportunity to test our boundaries and expose our weaknesses (a Failure if you like). However, this failure gave us the insights needed to improve our practices, and build on our knowledge to benefit our business. Progress for years to come! I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful Clients for your patience and understanding during this crazy time, now that things are returning to normal, we look forward to catching up with you all soon.

05.01.2022 We cherish, too, the poppy red That grows on fields where valor led; It seems to signal to the skies That blood of heroes never dies, But lends a lustre to the red... Of the flower that blooms above the dead In Flanders Fields. - We shall keep the faith, Moina Michael See more
