24.01.2022 Another day doing our best for our customer... There was a range of requirements at this address..... Not everything had a simple solution....... Mobility and function high on the list... We built a new wooden hand rail at the front steps, plus added a S/S grab rail at the steps and front door... Laundry and garage door we added a fold up and down S/S grab rail, our reason, to aid in stability/support for our customer and better access if needed..... Bathroom, we increased the towel rail space and added two grab rails... Toilet we added a 90 degree grab rail and shifted the paper roll holder... All the correct fasteners used, and, as mentioned to our customer, if you pull the grab rail off, start running because the house maybe falling down, our customer laughed at that..... Anyway, we love a happy customer

24.01.2022 Selling Your House? A few weeks ago.... Our customer was selling her house... She was unable to sort through some required tasks, mean before she brought in other services to make over her house.... quick tidy up before going to market So we were asked to assist... Tasks required!! Remove external blinds Remove internal curtains and blinds Remove all picture hooks Remove old shelving Remove old door bell wiring Adjust two doors Remove old shade cloth Check and clean gutters Make a new under the house door Plus a few other tasks.... She decided to use the local council hard rubbish collection to save money and time... When we finished We had a happy customer, and in a better position to move forward selling her house.... Another Handy Service...!!!

23.01.2022 Through our eyes A few weeks back, a customer asked us to look at a couple of tasks Birds getting in the roof... Door seperating Plus a loose lock mechanism They thought the following... Roof may need to be removed to tackle the birds Door replaced and painted etc Our suggestion.. Epoxy resin the door panels Replace the lock mechanism Fit cutter gaurd bristles So we did.... Few hours and one happy customer Gotta like that... The Handy Service Co.

22.01.2022 Awesome day helping others improve their mobility around their house Hand/Grabrail day... We added the timber for two reasons... 1. Greater stability for fixing/fitting the bases 2. Smooth edge behind the rails Our reason... The house has rough design bricks Perfect for skin abrasions, and thats not what you need in your older years Happy customers makes us happy to.... Everyday is different Make the most of it...

21.01.2022 Todays Task... Fit a new gate... My customer ran off to Bunnings, and came back with a gate of their flavour... There was a few other tasks we had to do before we hung the gate Stabilise the post with rapid set concrete Nail a few pailings back on Refix the side fence to the main fence Because the gate was smaller than the opening, we added an extra piece of timber to the side of the house Fitted the gate and latch, including making sure it was level Used all the correct fasteners, hinges and latch Just another day at The Handy Service Co. Couple days on the water blaster The same and more sealing and staining the deck Our customer is very happy Because the results are better than they expected We appreciate the patina and marks in the tiles Has history!!! 13.01.2022 Something different for us, and something new for our customer.... Over the course of the last few months, we have been working on this project, finally its completed... New pergola added to the garage, plus laser light clear panelling... The timber siding pressure washed and reoiled We used hard wood and cypress pine posts, all oiled and fastened together by galvanized fasteners What is unique to this project... Instead of attaching the pergola to the siding, we attached it to the frame work, and the laser light was cut and fitted around the vertical posts Got to love that.... The Handy Service Co Yes we can

12.01.2022 We even repair small tile areas Like this one - Removed, cleaned the tiles and surface We used the proper tile adhesive and grouting, plus siliconed along the join at the bath... Gotta love that....

06.01.2022 Today we had the pleasure of fitting safety hand rails for a lovely elderly couple.. The toilet, shower, living area and front entrance all sorted... Even a little extra engineering at the front entrance to make the rail easier to use... Plus we secured the spa hand rail and also adjusted the kitchen cupboard doors All in a days work... You need a hand, we can!!

03.01.2022 We even make... Custom made Rustic Timber Furniture Queen Size Bed and Base ... Except for the centre slats, the bed head and base was built from repurposed timber... Some of timber used to build it, was from Walls Beds, who were originally based in Maryborough Vic, the rest stored timber in the shed Looking for something different, that has a rustic feel, and with character, an individual piece Go on get in touch...

Replace the costly post, plus everything else Or Do what we did.... Boom, a few hours later Sorted Job done Strong as, that gate will be swinging for years to come
