25.01.2022 With the recent developments in the COVID-19 pandemic, it is with great regret that we announce the immediate closure of the club including the cancelation of all practices and competition for the foreseeable future. It is through this time that we put our members and visitors first and we see this as the only way to do so. We the committee will continue to keep up to date with the latest developments as they are announced and will inform of a reopening date as soon as we are able. We hope that each and every one of you continue to stay safe during this time. We also hope to see you all back once the situation has eased. Cosgrove Gun Club Committee

22.01.2022 At the VCTA Executive meeting of April 19, the Executive resolved that it would be in the best interest of our sport to write to the State Government Sports Minister, the Hon. Martin Pakula. This letter requested consideration be given to clay target shooting to be reintroduced in the first wave of the easing of restrictions from the Covid-19 pandemic. The letter was sent to Mr Pakula on 23/4/20 and his reply is eagerly anticipated. On behalf of the Executive of VCTA, we ho...pe that all club members are safe and well and we look forward to being able to ‘get back shooting’ as soon as possible. In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Kind regards Jeff Jeff Bell State Secretary/Treasurer

22.01.2022 We are ready and set to go as soon as we can!!!! With new light combinations including a light bar and two LED flood lights on each trap those targets will definitely be seen. Hope to see everyone out here as soon as legally possible.

11.01.2022 It is with huge sigh of relief that we now see the benefit of time in 'lock down' and the possibility of recommencing our sport. The relaxation of some element...s of the restrictions means that there is a chance that we can start again on a very limited basis. The State Executive of VCTA will be meeting this coming Friday night (May 15) to discuss the outcomes of today's announcement. VCTA will be inquiring as to how the new restrictions impact clay target shooting and whether there are any insurance or other issues to be considered. At this stage, VCTA advise for members to be patient until after the meeting Friday night. While there are some indications that practice will be possible - it will be under very restricted circumstances. No competitions are permitted at this time. Thank you for your patience at this time and we will advise you as soon as practicable of any changes.

10.01.2022 Hi All, we still have some spots left for our Sunday afternoon Practice. Please you must book with Russell- phone or text on 0438088074

01.01.2022 Dear ACTA Clubs, Zones and States, This is another brief update regarding the long-anticipated reactivation process for our sport.
