Firstly, as we always have, our clinicians and staff adhere strictly to Universal infection control procedures and precautions. We are taking all necessary steps advised by the Australian Dental Association and can reassure you we are taking all measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We have added an add...itional layer to our infection control procedures to ensure our office, staff and patients are safe. We have implemented strict protocols on frequent disinfecting commonly touched objects, surfaces and areas outside our surgeries. We ask all persons attending the practice to use our hand sanitiser provided for optimal hand hygiene. We also ask that prior to attending any appointment, patients advise the practice if they: 1. Are experiencing flu-like symptoms, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath. 2. Have recently returned from overseas travel; and/or 3. Have been in direct contact with a person who may have a confirmed case of COVID-19 In such cases, we will make another appointment at that patient’s convenience in at least 14 days time.
