24.01.2022 First couple of days back in clinic complete Its been so nice catching up with my lovely clients after the crazy few months we have all had! As Ive returned to clinic much earlier than planned (Thank you Coronavirus ) Im only working very limited hours whilst we also adjust into life as a family of 4 ... 20.01.2022 CLINIC UPDATE I just wanted to let everyone know my plan moving forward as we await government direction to reopen injectables clinics like mine. As per the announcement from our Victorian Premiere earlier this week the current restrictions will remain in place and will be reviewed again on 31st May which means clinic remains closed.... As most of you are aware our baby is due to arrive very soon My plan is to get back into clinic as soon as possible to see all my regular clients for their top ups which they have missed out on over the last 7 weeks. During this time I wont be taking on any new clients to ensure I can prioritise all of my lovely regular clients. I will be in touch with each of my clients who have had their appointments cancelled over the recent weeks and will get you all rebooked once I am open again (hopefully in early/mid June). Any of my other regular clients please feel free to get in touch and I will get you booked in once we have a reopening date If you are a new client and wanting to book in please get in touch and I can refer you on to a highly skilled Cosmetic Injector friend of mine Thank you all for your patience and loyalty at this very challenging time! 20.01.2022 I hope everyone is feeling ok today and not feeling too heavy after the announcement yesterday Unfortunately we did not get the news we were all hoping for this last almost 6 months has definitely been tough on us all and starting to take its toll on many. 18.01.2022 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY This (very 80s) photo of me performing essential nurse duties on my Dad was taken in 1986... I was 3 years old when I told my parents I wanted to be a Nurse! Growing up I was always the one looking after other people, concerned for their health and always wanted to make everyone feel better. ... I left school at 18 and went straight to university in London to study Nursing, I never questioned if it was the right profession for me... I knew it was After completing my studies and gaining my licence as a Registered Nurse in 2004 I went on to work on a variety of different Medical and Surgical Wards in London. In 2008 I was offered an associate manager role on a surgical unit at one of Melbournes leading Hospitals and I took the leap and moved over the other side of the world where I created a new life in Melbourne. For the next 9 years I worked in multiple Nursing management roles, building my career, climbing the ladder, completing more studies and pushing myself to achieve more and more. Whilst this was a very exciting time and I am proud of my hard work it was also very stressful and there came a time where I wanted to put myself and my family life first. This is where Cosmetic injectables came into my life I had always been very interested in Cosmetic Injectables on a personal level (I had been getting Botox since I was 28). When I started to really look at the industry I realised I had very mixed feelings about Injectables because of all the fake and unnatural looking treatments you see on social media. But this is when I realised Cosmetic Injectables didnt have to be fake or unnatural looking and that I could offer more natural looking treatments to those who were also seeking the same thing I was! I went on to complete my Cosmetic Injectables training and soon after opened my own little business where I focused on a NATURAL look. I wanted to really understand what my clients wanted from their treatments and why! So rather than just offering them a generic anti ageing package I spent time talking to my clients, getting to know them and their needs. This is something I continue to pride myself on, a true and honest connection with my clients I am now blessed to have an amazing and loyal bunch of clients who see my passion for natural looking treatments and continue to choose me as their Cosmetic Nurse. I am grateful every day for having a job that I LOVE so much I have always said Nursing is the best job in the world, its so versatile and the opportunities are huge. 17.01.2022 LIP FILLERS AVAILABLE SOON Due to Covid restrictions being lifted I will be able to offer lip fillers and all skin treatments very soon! Due to the current mandatory mask requirements when out in public there is an increased risk of lip filler infections if unclean masks are put on top of newly injected lips. ... To ensure the upmost safety for my clients I am putting together a new post lip filler treatment care plan which will need to be followed by all clients who receive a lip filler treatment from me. This is essential to ensure your lip fillers are able to heal and the risk of infection is minimised I will be getting in touch this week to book all of those on my lip filler waitlist. As you can imagine it will take me some time to get everyone booked in so I thank you in advance for your patience it has been a very tricky few months with rescheduling everyone’s appointments multiple times. 17.01.2022 Does anyone else find some isolation days much harder than others? Most days I just get up and plod along with the groundhog way of life we are all living and then some days I feel completely over it, frustrated and fed up! Its on these days I need to dig a little deeper to fill my cup, try a little harder to bring light and joy into my day.... 13.01.2022 CLINIC UPDATE As most of you are aware clinic can now officially open as per government direction I am currently enjoying some family time after the birth of our baby boy last week ... Over the next week or so I will be touching base with all of my regular clients and those who missed out on appointments whilst clinic was closed due to Covid 19 and Ill be getting everyone booked in for their top ups. There will be added restrictions in place in order to receive a treatment.... 08.01.2022 UPDATE Due to Covid 19 all Cosmetic Injectable Clinics are required to remain closed until we are given the go ahead to reopen by the Government. The current restrictions are being reviewed on Monday 11th May where we may be given the go ahead to reopen... This date is very close to the date I was due to start maternity leave but providing all is well and baby has not yet arrived I am planning on opening clinic for that week so I can get as many of my lovely clients through for their top ups before I take a break to have our baby I will individually get in touch with everyone who has had an appointment cancelled over the last 6 weeks to book you in. 01.01.2022 I MISS WORKING!!!! I hope everyone is managing this second lockdown we are having! I know that this one has been a lot harder than the last one for a lot of people (me included!)
