19.01.2022 During a procedure, the skin can do some weird and wonderful things depending on the person. This is why I really encourage touch up appointments 4 to 6 weeks after your initial appointment. This allows perfecting! One side can be more stubborn than the other with pigment taking to the skin. The shape can even look slightly off after a procedure due to minor swelling. Its best to let the healing stage take its course to get the end result and know where you stand. A perfect...ing appointment (touch up) also allows me to assess the healed results and make any slight changes that are needed along with your help! 19.01.2022 Educational post Have you researched your choice of cosmetic tattoo artist? In particular, their training? Did you know the cosmetic tattoo industry at present only requires you to have an infection control certificate and a council license? It concerns me that a majority of cosmetic tattoo training is non accredited...... What does this mean? An example - a lot of cosmetic tattoo courses are offered online with 1 practical assessment via video call... I know right!?!? Ask yourself this question... would you let someone tattoo or microblade your face with non standardised training, or via 1 video call delivery? A "Certificate of Completion" and a "Statement of Attainment" are 2 very different ... i guess you'd say "things". Accredited training is standardised and audited by the Registered Training Office government organisation to ensure all requirements are met in the delivery and assessment of a course. It is also nationally recognised training offering a statement of attainment IF deemed competent. I urge everyone who's considering cosmetic procedures to research the background of your choice in artist. Cosmetic Ink Gladstone is prided in Nationally Accredited Training, where my skills and knowledge were gained and advanced with a 1 on 1 qualified trainer to deliver standardised training! 01.01.2022 It's with great sadness I have to put a cancellation policy in place. Since my opening 3 weeks ago, I have had 1 no show and 6 cancellations - all with less than 48 hours notice. Booking Terms and Conditions: 1. Touch-up appointments are required to be booked on a date no later than 6 weeks after your initial appointment (brows and eyeliner) or 8 weeks after your initial appointment (lips). If you book outside this timeframe, a 12 to 18 month touch up/refresh fee will apply. ... 2. Touch-up appointments are to be booked at the completion of your initial procedure appointment time. This is to save disappointment and to ensure your booking is within the time frame specified in condition 1 above. If you are unable to book your touch up at the initial appointment due to your unknown availability, Cosmetic Ink Gladstone will take no responsibility if no appointments are available in the time frames specified in condition number 1 above. I will try my best to accommodate but i cannot guarantee as I am getting busier and busier. 3. A touch-up appointment includes colour correction and minor shape adjustments. This does not include changing your mind about the overall shape of your brows, eyeliner and/or lips that we agreed upon in your initial appointment i.e. wanting thicker or longer brows. I spend plenty of time in your initial appointment working with my clients discussing mapping and shape expectations to avoid any disappointment in the end results. 4. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, your compound pharmacy anaesthetic products will not be returned to you. This will become Cosmetic Ink’s spare supply for last minute appointments to fill your cancellation spot! 5. I do not rush my appointments. Please avoid over-booking yourself the day of your appointment with me, in case things go a little over time. I really don’t want to be rushing a tattoo on your face, right?! Cancellation Policy: 1. No fees apply to cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice. 2. Cancellation/reschedule fee with less than 48 hours notice = 30% of total service cost will apply 3. If you do not show to your appointment or you’re late by 20 minutes or more = 50% of total service cost will apply. I will try my absolute best to work in with extenuating circumstances.
