Stella travelled to Australia from Estonia on a work holiday visa and decided to get her dreadies at Cosmic Mana Dreadlocks after her friend Johanna had her dreadies with human hair extensions installed with me also. 21.01.2022 Cosmic Mana Tips & Advice . Blonde dreadlocks with extensions are divinely beautiful but can require a little extra love and care. Usually, clients with platinum, silver or blonde hair use toners and/or bleach their regrowth. The chemicals in toner shampoos, peroxide and developers can weaken the connection points and may cause the extension to slip out. As well as damaging the extensions as it would your own hair. Nothing that isn't repairable though. . My advice; avoid... using toners and bleaching on a regular basis. He was also wanting to lighten the load as he felt it would be too warm for summer time and also he surfs and swims everyday, even at night, so it takes a while for his dreads to dry in the evenings. 09.01.2022 Kinks, bumps, loops & zig-zags Never fear, my dear. These are all completely normal and expected as your dreadies are maturing. They occur when a section of your dreadlock tightens and pulls together before the section right next to it. I'm a total fan of perfectly imperfect dreadies with bumps, kinks and loops but a lot of people aren't. For those of you that aren't, I would recommend getting regular maintenance in the early stages of your dread journey. This will allo...w your loctician to have the best possible chance at pulling in the loops into the dreadlock. Once your bumps and loops have fully locked in, it is difficult to completely get the dread looking perfectly smooth. Palm rolling your dreadies after a wash when they are damp will also help. It will encourage everything to lock in together and help keep things smooth. If you need any help with your dreadies connect with me. I'd love to help you out.
