23.01.2022 Today we visit Karnak, which is not one temple, but many temples covering an huge area. It is almost overwhelming in size and complexity and we could honestly s...tay here for days and not see everything. Being able to wander around Karnak when there are few tourists it a fabulous thing to do, so i am hoping that when we go back next year, visitor numbers will still be low. These temples were never meant to have throngs of people inside them and the atmosphere is so much better felt when one is alone. www.mirrorofeternity.com mystic adventures Tours of Egypt March and October 2021 See more

19.01.2022 So here is another location high on my list of "favourite places " in Egypt. The Temple of Hathor at Dendera. There are many reasons why this is a favourite on... my list, but one of the most fascinating things about this temple is the exquisite astrological ceiling in the hypostyle hall. Not only can you pick out your own astrological sign, but also, floating beneath them on the tides of Cosmic time, we can see the Dekans, and to the Ancient Egyptians, the Dekan you were born under was by far the most important, as it showed the journey of your soul and the destiny it had in this lifetime. www.mirrorofeternity.com.au Mystic Adventures in Egypt. 17.01.2022 There is nothing quite like opening the curtains of your cabin window and seeing a wonderful Luxor early morning.

15.01.2022 The Goddess Hathor shown twice, one image of a smiling, beautiful young woman, the other of an older woman with a more careworn expression on her face. Thus proving that the natural progression of life even applies to Goddesses.

06.01.2022 Today we visit Deir El Medina, this is where the workers lived who built the magnificent tombs that we see in the Valley of the Kings. They also built some smal...l, but equally beautiful tombs for themselves, several of which we get to see. I always love walking around here, seeing the remains of their houses and little village, somehow it brings them to life, these mostly anonymous people who left such a great legacy to Egypt and to the world. We also visit the small temple that stands above the village, dedicated to Hathor and Maat. www.mirrorofeternity.com Mystic Adventures in Egypt Tours 2021 in March and October See more

06.01.2022 I was looking through some old photos and came across this one of myself in the Queens Chamber, many years ago when we were still allowed to take photos inside the great Pyramid.

01.01.2022 Another of my "favourite places" in Egypt, the Temple of Seti 1st in Abydos. So plain from the outside, but inside, full of mystery and wonder with the most bea...utiful art work in all of Egypt. Seti must have been a man of great refinement, his temple reflects his nature, striving for perfection, as Perfection is the way to the Gods. See more

01.01.2022 I am always asked what is my favourite place in Egypt, the honest answer is "lots of places!", but I guess this one has to be on top of the list.
