24.01.2022 DO YOU REMEMBER PIZZA BEING INTRODUCED TO THE SOUTH EAST? Vince and Franca Caiazza and opened a pizza bar in Mount Gambier in the early 1970s. They did everything by hand (including growing a few hundred tomato plants out the back because you couldn't buy tin tomatoes then). He is one of thousands of Italian migrants that moved away from a devastated post-war Italy to create a life for themselves in Australia.
