We offer a 'get ready' lesson plan which uses the current curriculum to prepare students for the year to come - nice and early! Similarly, we offer 'assignment lessons' whereby we explain and showcase assignments for given subjects - explaining what will be expected of you. The lessons are not an onslaught of content - they are relaxed and by (almost) all accounts, enjoyable. We have a young, diverse team ready to help throughout Brisbane, the Redlands and Logan.

23.01.2022 COVID-19: An Update on Online Tuition Unfortunately, we're now baring the brunt of what looks like the start of one of the most disastrous economic downturns in modern history - and it will not be over anytime soon. We understand that schools may close, and content will be delivered online indefinitely. We have changed our delivery, until normalcy resumes. COSMOS will be delivering online tutoring via the ZOOM software, where video-chat and screen-sharing is made easy. We... have three maths tutors available, who have university-level understanding of mathematics. We have three English and humanities tutors available, who have university-level understanding of English and education. We have a specialised biology and chemistry tutor, who is a master in his area. We have two physics and engineering tutors, who study engineering/physics at university. Depending on demand, we would like to hire as many young people as possible. Though, COSMOS must fill the hours of current tutors first. We have no idea how the community will react to online tuition, but if it seems to be popular - we will be offering as much work as possible to the youth. We understand that casuals and part-time workers are being dismissed to conserve profits, and the state is failing to catch everyone in the safety net. If it is possible, as we are only a team of 6 tutors, we would love to provide some income to young people struggling. 05.01.2022 NEW TUTOR: Nick Ryan Due to the recent influx of clients, I’ve had to get another tutor at Cosmos. I tutored Nick for two years. I helped him with maths B and C. Last night, Nick received an OP1. He graduated from Brisbane State High School. He’s now going into a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics at UQ. Nick is incredibly gifted. He’s extremely intelligent and has great people skills. His communication, compassion and humour is to be commended and will provide any student with first class tuition. I have complete trust in him. Nick will obtain his blue card ASAP and will be available for work as soon as it comes in. SUBJECTS: Nick will offer maths B, maths C, biology and economics. Our tutors have decided to forego 100% of their hourly rate, in order take take on students whom have families in regular financial stress. Now, we trust the citizens of the Redlands and Brisbane to be honest with themselves. We are not talking about children who have the luxury of attending elite schools. Instead, we are trying to reach those who simply cannot attain the education th...ey need, due to persistent governmental failure to establish public schooling to a degree the contemporary world requires. We will be taking those communities that we feel are regularly disadvantaged, namely the refugee and Aboriginal community. Though, this isn't a requirement.
