25.01.2022 Community Announcement! Unless you are 1 of the 2 schools who had Book Week this week, your costumes are due back by TOMORROW guys!!! Open today- 10am-5pm... Saturday 10-12 ALSO... We will be opening late on Tuesday 3rd September. Our apologies but this new time will be 2-5pm.

21.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers In order to keep not only ourselves but all of you safe and well, we will be open by appointment only from this point onwards. This will help us to minimise the amount of people in store at any one point, to maintain the best infection control standards that we possibly can, all while complying with government recommendations regarding COVID-19. ... We have already been hit hard, based on many cancelled events and overseas trips, in which people usually require costumes for. Meaning we also need to make use of us our time as much as possible to work our other jobs, to continue providing for our family (as we realise many of you can empathise with). We will continue to keep you updated, as changes are made and lets hope that both physically and economically, we pull through this as quickly as possible. 16.01.2022 Today (Tuesday 10th Sep), we are taking a long lunch break from 1pm- 2.30pm(ish). We apologise for the short notice but our little guy has an emergency dental appointment today! He is okay but unfortunately this was the only time that we could make it for at such short notice. If you can, please come outside of these times :)

15.01.2022 Book Week is fast approaching and we always understand parents pain at having to get last minute costumes sorted! For this reason our opening hours will extend slightly over the coming 2 weeks- Mon 12th Aug: 3.30-5.30pm Tue 13th Aug: 10am-5pm Wed14th Aug: CLOSED... Thu 15th Aug: 3.30-5.30pm Fri 16th Aug: 10am-5pm Sat 17th Aug: 10am-12pm Sun 18th Aug: CLOSED Mon 19th Aug: 3.30-5.30pm Tue 20th Aug: 10am-5pm Wed 21st Aug: CLOSED Thu 22nd Aug: 3.30-5.30pm Fri 23rd Aug: 10am-5pm Sat 24th Aug: 10am-12pm Sun 25th Aug: CLOSED Please remember that while our business is run from our property, unfortunately we cannot offer toilets. This came about for multiple reasons- OH&S and insurance purposes, privacy and safety (for my entire family, including our special needs child). So please remember to remind little ones to go before heading in as sometimes, choosing from thousands of costumes can be a lengthy process lol! We have eftpos and cash facilities in store! 15.01.2022 Even with owning a costume shop... some days you just dont get this Book Week gig right Master M decided this morning that his Wimpy Kid costume (that he cho...se 2 weeks ago) looked radiclious Lucky for us, we did the last minute dash to swap and change so we could get out the door for school... Hey, I have even hand made my kids costumes for 2 of the years we have had the business We wanna see all of your costumes! Did you get stuff from us?! Did mum, dad or gran spend hours making one? Was it a last minute, make shift costume? We would love to see photos!!!

15.01.2022 Dear Customers The time has come for us to make some big decisions!! We've had a massive year (as most of you have) and with the way the world is changing and the impacts COVID restrictions are having on all of us, it is time for us to focus on careers, health and our family. So with that... We will be selling all of our stock from here on in.... NO HIRES will be available. We will remain open for as long as it takes to sell majority of our costume items. Our hours will remain by appointment only however we will have several 'opening/sale days' TBA. Now is the chance to buy that favourite costume of yours! Perhaps you're into cosplay or theatre?! School productions? Preparing for when music festivals return? Or into Vintage clothing? We have already sold a lot to other small businesses and it won't take long for your favourite pieces to find new homes so please don't procrastinate! Please give us a call, send us a message or book an appointment (be mindful the updated facebook business portal is a tad glitchy so we may miss some of these messages unintentionally). 13.01.2022 We often get asked if we sell contact lenses. The short answer is no. It is illegal to sell contact lenses in Tasmania unless you are a registered optometrist. Please be safe guys! We all love a bit of fun and to transform ourselves sometimes but not at the expense of your health and safety

12.01.2022 Apologies to all that came in today and we were unable to serve due to our eftpos difficulties. We hope to have this rectified asap!! Of all weeks too Please dont forget that we have extended our opening hours for the next 2 weeks so aside from Wednesdays and Sundays, we will be open at some stage every other day! 11.01.2022 A big thank you to all of our lovely customers who have popped in over the last 2 Tuesdays in particular. I have left the men of the house in charge while I ha...ve been at another job and they have done exceptionally well, learning and figuring stuff out as they go. We realise that people are still in need of costumes for this week so with that, I am going to increase opening hours for an extra 2 hours, tomorrow afternoon to accommodate. Wednesday 3.30-5.30pm Thursday 3.30-5.30pm Friday 10am-5pm Saturday 10am-12pm Next week... back to normal!

10.01.2022 Hi Everyone We would like to thank you all for your patience, while we work our way through this trying period. As you can imagine, re-opening our store is not the easiest task, while trying to comply with current government regulations surrounding COVID-19 restrictions. We are doing all that we can to keep both ourselves and you, as our customers safe. We can safely say that we will reopen from 1st July 2020 BY APPOINTMENT only! ... What this means for your appointments- We will not have set opening hours, so that social distancing measures can be adhered to and much easier for us to manage. We would appreciate customers support in limiting the amount of friends/family that are bought along with them to appointments, due to our small space. We will do our best to work with you all beforehand, in sending through pictures and getting a general idea of what you are after BEFORE you come to the store, as appointment times will be limited to 30 minutes each. And please, PLEASE do not come in- reschedule or cancel, if unwell. We have vulnerable family members and do not wish to risk the health of our loved ones. We realise that events are still limited and we dont expect to be overly busy. This allows us the flexibility to still work our other jobs so we appreciate your support in advance, if we have to shuffle about appointment times to find something suitable for all. Another 4 month closure has not been great for business but just as we have before, we will get back into the swing of it in no time. We thank you for being so loyal and sticking with us. We may be able to take appointments for Thursday between school hours if needed. Anyone that has costumes due to be returned this weekend, will have their dates extended until next weekend automatically. 09.01.2022 Christmas/New Year Opening Hours Tuesday 24th Dec- Closed Friday 27th Dec- Open Saturday 28th Dec- Open... Tuesday 31st Dec- Closed Friday 3rd Jan- Open (from this date onwards as usual). Please be mindful of our usual opening hours being Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays so all other days around this, we are closed as we would be normally. 05.01.2022 We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for thier patience over the last 2 weeks, since the arrival of our newest family member. This important family time has restricted our availability and for that we apologise but most of us understand that babies run on thier own time and surgery takes recovery time. This along with other children, work and school holidays makes for slow response times and hesitation while we navigate appointment times.... Please be mindful, since COVID, we are open by appointment only and are trying our best to accommodate where we can.
